Just fuking do it. If you want to make it easier, go low carb 2-3 days before, transitioning into ketosis can be rough for some and make you think the fast is going poorly. Days one and two are very hard. Days 3-7 are not, you'll get hungry and it will pass. Drink plenty of water, don't confuse hunger for thirst.

Poor Katya, though, hopefully she has enough sense to bring someone to chaperone any encounter she has with anyone she meets from this fuking place.

This is true. Hardest part is end of day 1 through bedtime day 2. I found it helpful to move around some, go for long walks.
