living on your own is seriously the best

ngl it took me a long time to leave the nest. could have became an apartmentcel or roomatecel years ago but decided to swallow any pride and stay home, save money, get out of debt etc finish school. all to avoid rent. sucked having to buy hotel rooms or fuk in my car srs. but my home life was good. now i fuk bitches in my living room

the fruits of my labor show itself everyday with a new house i come home to. its seriously an amazing feeling getting out of work and coming home.

so for you brahs at home, if I did it anyone could do it. fuk all your friends who are "on their own" but live with 5 roommates or apartments paying rent. that chit isn't the goal. and they're not on their own if they live with people.

staying at home paying off debt and stacking money to achieve something greater such as a home is the smartest, most mature decision you could make. yeah you might dry up a few pussies when you tell them you live at home, but girls who don't see the bigger picture aren't worth your time.

but now im back in debt furnishing this bish LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

dear diary
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

I definitely agree with you on staying home to pay off debt, save, ect. assuming you have a good home life. Makes no sense to rush into renting a place just for the sake of independence and end up struggling financially.

I needed to be a rentcel during University, srs. Family lived too far away.

Been renting for 4 years after graduating though, and tbh that totals like $60k+ especially when you count the bills (internet, electric, water). Would've been nice to have that for a house down payment and to increase my investments, but ah well. Even after renting all this time, I'm still only 26 and am debt free, have ~$100k net worth, though only like ~$25kish available for a down payment on a house. Another couple years I'll be 28/29 and ready for the first home purchase. Feels good mang.

Yes I'm jelly of stay-at-homers.

If I owned a place I'd probably try to rent out a room just to pay it off faster. Would definitely take the right roommate though.

If you have long term financial goals and don't have the (realistic) potential for a super high income then i agree with you op

Only thing is not everyone lives for financial goals, some people live for the experiences

When I was in my early twenties I was renting a penthouse apartment in the nicest part of downtown

I wasn't saving much money but I was living in the moment and had so much fun that I'm not sure I'd trade that for anything in the world

Also the way a woman acts when you check all the boxes: ie tall, good looking, the allusion of money (nice place, car etc., living in the moment attitude)

There were some hnnng moments that I know I'd never have experienced otherwise

Also I met a ton of cool people via networking probably due to the added self confidence of having nice things and having women boost my ego

Yeah not everything is about money, unfortunately many people get a little to invested in trying to save all they can to retire early and end up missing a lot of these experiences.
