Yanks, can we just establish whether you care about winning the Ryder Cup?

Or not? Because I know one of two things will happen, either you will lose (again) and to amman you will all say 'we dont care about the Ryder Cup'

Or, in the extremely unlikely event you win, a hundred of you with no previous interest in golf will start up dozens of threads chanting USA USA, all of which will inevitably result in you claiming to be the worlds pre eminent sporting nation..

So, Ryder Cup, starts next Friday the 24th Sep, Whistling Straights, (Michigan I think), europe are 11/8 against to win last I checked..

I've never got into watching professional golf. But I might since I'm getting into the game. But on the topic of golf just spent $700 today for a bundle of 10 lessons with a top notch teacher so hopefully I'll be making some improvements to my own game.

Went today to work on driving the ball, and first thing he did was tell me my grip was all fkd up lmao (was holding it more like a baseball grip). Fixed my grip and I was hitting bombs dead straight. I was like yeah this dude's gonna help me out a lot.

Except I wasnt saying Europe were 11-8 up I was saying the odds of them winning was 11/8 against (bet £8 to win £11)
