lol I stopped collecting unemployment in June because I made too much money off that. I'm sure others are similar to me. I'm sure that's where the low figure comes from

Got my first applicant that's been honest with us. Been on unemployment for 18 months and the only looking for work now because the unemployment extra benefit is gone.

i believe it, even though it doesn't seem like it out in the wild. Reason being, those people that aren't working at popeyes and the dollar store haven't just completely left the job market. They went to work for Amazon ded fkin Srs. That's why you just don't see them. They can make $15 in a warehouse. They have no incentive to go work at Wendy's for $8

most rotters aren't even trying so they arent even considered in that 4.8% stat

also as others itt pointed out, basically every fukin restaurant has help wanted signs so the true unemployment rate is def bout 3.50x higher at least

4.8% only includes the people actively looking for work. There are so many NEETS that wont work so its about double that at least.

I believe that is the U3 number in unemployment statistics.
