a 2 overall waiver in a 12 man on a QB? i cannot suggest that

edit - to elaborate. Carr's got a fine matchup vs the Dolphins i get why you want him. not crazy about the news of him needing MRI on his ankle.

personally i'd just see if Carr survives waivers. if he doesn't, grab Darnold vs Houston and hope for Burrow to get it together long-term

after this week Burrow's next 3 games are Jax, GB, Detroit. he'll have his chance to get right.

Got offered Ridley for Swift and I so bad want to take that but that basically leaves me with 2 RBs and one is CEH.

Are there deep benches in that league? Wonder why so many QBs are rostered. Cousins has been my go-to in leagues I waited until the very end for a QB since he's almost always there even if a few people roster 2.

Yeah, I'll probably go this route and save the waiver. On spread.

League creator gave everyone an extra bench spot last year amidst all the COVID bullchit uncertainty.

wow. down 6 going into tonight w/ aaron jones against rodgers. Pulled it off by 1 point. Was kinda hype tho because I would be second lowest in the league and this stupid league sets waivers in inverse order of standings. 1-1 in all 33 leagues but barely.

Dallas Goedert and Hooper are not it for my TE spot, looking into other options. Really interested in Maxx Williams, but its bone dry out there.

Also decided its time to stay away from everyone on the miami dolphins including Kicker. Time to stream.

Thoughts on dropping Tony Jones Jr. to play someone in the flex next week over Waddle?

interested in Cordarelle Patterson, Darius Slayton, Peoples-Jones/Rashaad Higgins with injuries to the Browns Wrs, KJ osborn, or Sony Michel (may be a terrible play this week but good stash)

for TE - i'd move on from hooper. but Dallas G is probably as good as it's going to get vs most of the conventionally available TE options.
at K - weird year for him, Sanders was actually a top 3 option last year in fantasy. is Prater available? he went to AZ and nobody said a peep about it. great kicker and now a great offense.

Tony Jones drop - that's a gamble, he's definitely a lottery pick if something were to happen with Kamara. i can't say what to do there. i have him on one team and am just trying to keep him as long as i can.

HOWEVER if you move Jones (or hooper?) for Patterson i guess you could say it's worth it. Patterson is a lottery ticket as well if Davis were to go down, and even without that happening he's seeing the ball 7-12 times a game (ground/air). assuming this is all the same roster, i'd lose hooper and grab patterson, and continue to stash Tony.

Jones brought the guy I was playing against back to life and for the win. I won't watch who the other team has but last night I said to myself more than once, "I hope the f******* doesn't have Jones"

Hock in the 5th/6th is going to be a league winner for a lot of teams. Can't believe I got him for $8 in one of my auctions.

it was either him or mark andrews in both my drafts. when hock once and andrews once. andrews has been mighty quiet. i know it's because his QB can't really throw or make quick short passes with the ball

CmC really fuked my chances this week, who should I start as my 2nd RB? I got Edwards-Helaire, Fournette, Pollard, and J. Robinson (Jax)

Probably gonna bench Edwards since he's been underwhelming, gonna start pollard

Facts best option was Edwards when I needed to pick my RB2. Probably gonna start Pollard, dude will do some of the work for Dallas. I hope DHop or Thielen go all out Sunday

Robby is such a disappointment. Figured he'd at least get 6-7 targets a game and be a reasonable flex. Probably going to get even worse as that rookie Marshall improves.

Dropped him for Cedrick Wilson so I can just wait until Monday night to see if I need to sit Cooper for him.

Going to be interesting to see what people do with CMC this week after what happened last year.

i don't get what went wrong there or why they're not really looking his way. he's had a few good years especially last year.

Heard they're sending him deep this year which they couldn't really do with Teddy. Great for the team IRL but not really for fantasy unless you have Moore lol.

i certainly did not see this coming so i don't mean to say it as hindsight or 'i told you so' but it's pretty striking how rare it is for a guy to repeat being the top pick in fantasy. it just doesn't happen and you have to wonder - if this injury lingers and he misses time - if we've seen his peak already and might not see it again across 16-17 games anymore.

the same names all come to mind and all fell off hard. david johnson, todd gurley, lev bell (different scenario), zeke elliott now. jamaal charles. once you start getting hurt it's very hard to turn that around and go back to being a week-in week-out dominant RB

I didn't play FF before 2012, but I would think Adrian Peterson must have been #1 overall a couple times between 2008 and 2012. One of the best stretches of RB production the NFL has seen.

Peterson went back to back at some point around '09-'11. i'm sure there are exceptions to the rule i just am still thrown by how quickly a guy like david johnson can go from being the unquestioned best player in fantasy to an average back, to now a third-down passing back on the worst team

Yep its crazy, I only brought up AP because he is the only one I can think of that was #1 overall a few times and actually produced. Insane amount of turnover at the #1 spot since I started playing. Peterson is the only RB I can remember in recent times with a dominant stretch of play consistently.

PPR league Claypool or J White? Feel like White is consistently good for ~10 points from those short passes and Claypool is going to be boom or bust. Higgins being doubtful hurts me this week.

May depend on Diontae and Ben. If Diontae is out, you'd think Juju and Claypool will get more looks, but if Ben is out, then trash all Steelers for this week except Najee.

I never followed him too closely except the year I drafted him but I remember part of DJ's problem was absolutely abysmal playcalling the year after he was injured. He'd get 20 touches and they'd all be carries up the middle srs.

yea AP was there and prior to AP, you had ladainian tomlinson as the #1 overall for years

I had CMC last year, If CMC landed on me I would have passed on him.. he is definitely the best back in the NFL whenhealthy, but yea that doesn't help my team if hes constantly hurt. Thats why I went with big bad ass Derrick Henry, but I would have gone dalvin cook as well as he gets hurt and shows up in a series or two later like nothing happened to him.

hard pass on josh gordon, everyone is still living in the memories of that one season with the browns and we all still think he will return to that glory 10 years later after being suspended every damn year for the same chit

I don't hate starting Sermon at all. He should get a ton of carries and who knows how much OBJ is used his first game back.
