For 1, these guys are good. Like really really good and rarely hit it in the woods. However it happens enough you can find 20 minute youtube videos of pros dealing with trees.

Play a regular course. Hit the ball in the woods deep. Hitting 3 again from the tee. The PGA courses don't have deep woods. You can punch out of all of them and with the gallery, someone will find them. Yes the guys are really good, but they do hook and fade shots.

The equipment allows them to bomb it 330 off the tea and hit wedge from 160. A guy like Corey Pavin who was a manlet, could never play today. It's glorified long drive.
