Finally saw Wolf of Wall Street boyos (srs)

10/10 drug performances, though it's not much of a stretch for celebs who use that chit on the reg.

But I gotta say, the frat house scenes got kinda old, it felt like every 10 minutes there was someone blitzed out of their mind and screaming or railing some sloot. Not to mention that films like this likely shroud or misdirect much of the truth of massive figures like Belfort. At least that's what I'm assuming based off Hollywood's reputation with mafia films or Escobar shows. I wanted to know more details (inb4 "go listen to the real jordan belfort).

Oh yeah and Margot Robbie

It’s entertaining for sure

But Jordan Belfort is an insufferable kunt (the movie and real life versions)

Kudos to Leo who was able to portray a massive douche bag very accurately

Margot Robbie looks FAB - what a smoke show

No real depth or plot - kind of similar to a dumb action movie but for finance

Big short is a much better “finance” movie

That's exactly what I was lookin for then, a film where you actually learn something besides how much of a degenmaxxer Belfort was.

Was actually shocked to find out he was involved in this film, but....then there's the fact he made many of the aforementioned mafia films which give people a false sense of what happened with Henry Hill and others. Great movies though.

Great movie, but I almost wish it wasn’t made because Jordan Belfort is such a massive piece of chit, he doesn’t deserve any fame, notoriety or additional income opportunities as a result of the film.

pretty good movie. when it came out i was 25 and doing a lot of drugs all the time and drinking heavily so i really enjoyed it. now im more of an oldcel that goes to work and then goes home and has 3-4 beers or a bottle of wine on my days off and no more drugs so i don't get as entertained by it as i did back then. still love the scenes when he's introducing all his old friends that he grew up with.

Well speaking of oldcel takes, I find it amusing people are pushing this as a "warning" type movie. The mofo got filthy rich, slayed endless vag, did what he loved, and got off with just 22 months of prison. Most people waste away far more of their life than that anyways, without all the success.

Fact is: this is a major glorification of the fast life. Like so many other big crime figures, the bigger criminal you are, the less punishment you get.

Boiler Room is the less budgeted and more into what Belfort did to the lives of the people he screwed over and the people who worked under him without focusing much on Belfort type of movie. Also has Vin Diesel as the most common highest actor in the movie. Affleck sucks in general but even he had only a few small parts at best as the biggest name in the movie.

WOWS is a hilarious, highly budgeted film with a generational director, hollywood superstar actors, and went more the route of what fun it was to do drugs, steal people's money and live like a degenerate millionaire who see's it all come crashing down.

Both should be appreciated......"Sell me this pen" is something everybody who works in sales has read about too.
