I am a big fella, at 6'4 300lbs......so It has to actually fit.

Looking for one that can go up to 200lbs


Anyone know a good brand with good materials?

Don't get the MIR vest, they're fancy, cost a lot but suck ass.

Question though, why are you looking for one?

I have 4 weighted vests and this one has been the most durable although you are considerably bigger than me and I use the 25lb vest of this brand. I also use a 40lb vest that I bought from academy but the little sandbags often fall out and the weight doesn’t seem to be as evenly distributed to the one below. This one there’s no sandbags and it’s been durable through jump roping, sprints, normal calisthenics, etc. I use it everyday to walk with on top of utilizing for my workouts and I have zero complaints so far 6 months in. Actually I just looked and bought it in December so it’s holding up considering how often I use it. Wait, just reread and you need on that goes up to 200lbs, nevermind haha.

Want to walk with weights........was thinking of a backpack but my current backpack already gives me issues carrying so I only carry when hiking.


Edit: I want to do cardio and build endurance, but my personal fear is due to my weight my joints will suffer too much while running.....I can run a little over a mile straight (not sure my time). But, my knees are on fire after. I can walk for 4-5 hours with purpose (swift stride) and shortly after knees feel the same. Biking is the same too.

So my thought is weighted vest, and walk a little less, potentially burn more cals?

Shoot, on Amazon I can get a 100lb for that price......hmmmmm but comfort would be key......and I can return if it doesn't fit.

I have this one as well. And I highly recommend it if you don’t plan to move up from 25 pounds for a while. It’s super comfortable. Actual military type vests with weight plates are so much more expensive.
