The recall actually went worse than expected. It was actually somewhat larger than Obama's margin of victory (21 vs 24) and much larger than Kerry's margin of victory (11 points). It was even larger than Newsome's 2018 margin of victory(23 vs 24). It was still smaller than Biden's margin of victory (29%)so theres that.

Pretty sure that it will never happen/

I lived in Palm Springs for 5 years back in the early 2000's and would love to be able to retire there. I witnessed it eroding and being overrun by homeless and degeneracy and enablers.

It needs to crash and burn, then get rebuilt.

Not for a long while because most of the coast and socal is blue. Central cali actually has a lot of red counties but the problem is most of the population lives in the coast and social so when it comes to voting it will always be blue.

I actually thought Larry Elder had a 50/50 shot to win the recall but in typical Cali fashion, the cucks turned out in droves. I was amazed at how badly the recall failed. If Elder doesn’t win in 2022, the state will be fuked for decades to come.

I want to move away, give the state time to return to its glory (which I understand may never happen, but should if the right conservative government takes over) and then I would plan to retire back home as a snowbird living half the year in NY and half the year somewhere like FL, GA or NC/SC.

elder was just a poor candidate for a recall, plus it helps that newsom was bringing in the fukin president amongst others for campaign events, it was insurmountable from the start because of the money involved on newsom's side

the sheer numbers of votes from the bay area scum, there's no way to beat that without splitting CA into multiple states

Republicans are not winning any elections ever again. First off, Republicans don't do what their constituents want so there is no enthusiasm for them. Second, Democrats figured out that with mail in voting, they can't lose because a lazy illiterate 18 year old may not waste time to wait on a voting line, but they will mail back a pre-filled out ballot, and if they don't have enough mailed in ballots, they can just cheat and there's no way to ever prove it.
