Why do americans have obession for height?

i'm seeing a huge difference between the importance of height in europe and in the USA. I'm not saying it isn't important at all to have a proper height but it seems in europe it matters alot less then
compared to the united states of hamburgers.

my personal take, does it has anything to do with basketball?

no one plays that **** here in europe.

Probably the Imperial measurement system of feet and inches.
Women want the magical 6 by a guy's name for bragging rights.. Either 6'0 or 6'1, etc.
If you're 5'11.5, you might as well be 5'9.

But in Europe, thats 178cm to 182cm (5'10 and 6'0 respectively)
European women aren't looking for the magical 180cm guy as (5'11) would be pretty bland around their parts.
200cm sounds like the nice round number, which is about 6'7 (totally ridiculous to look for).

Also, we have a lot more genetic variation, so heights are all over the place from 6'3 German ancestry to 5'5 Latino ancestry.
So people need to height check.

The American Dream tells you removing the safety net while taking the same amount in taxes allows you to work hard to avoid crime and tragedy.

Primitive features become more important.

This, so basically the imperial system is not only cucking you when it comes to ease of use but also when it comes to women.

Brutal.

Another win for the metric system, the objectively superior system.

Because human females use height as a key criteria in selecting a mating partner.

In the real world being average height is good enough for most women.

Height only really starts to play a big role when you are shorter than the girl or really below average.

women love to make out they do to weed out those insecure males that get all huffy about height

well the women who do care about height often ask here for 180cm.

Which is the average height isn't even the average height for dutch males. it is 181 cm

but i do agree that your point might has some truth to it.

I read a study somewhere that they showed women pictures of males and they asked who would make more money. and they more oftenly picked the taller person.

but in reality a shorter male often makes more money and researchers think it has something to do with napaleon syndrome LOL

Height is important in Europe as well lol, open your eyes.

There's multiple studies on this showing how height affects presence, influence, and taller people are respected more.

Height isn't everything, but let's not kid ourselves and pretend it doesn't matter in Europe, it's a factor pretty much everywhere.

This thread sounds like manlet cope.

Actually, no.

Height is a fairly strong correlate of career success.
