Even MORE car porn. NEXT LEVEL donuts! (vid)

We were asked to use some of our cars for a promotion of breakaway music festival coming to Charlotte in oct.

One of my buddies decided to do donuts with an SVJ around a few of the models that were brave enough to stand in the middle.

For those that dont know, this is an AWD car. It is also worth about 850k in todays market. Not that it matters, but it is a lot to risk doing stupid, and fun, stuff like this. Even I was surprised when he said he was up for it. But I have NEVER seen a spectacle quite like this. I have some more pics I will post later. I raced a 765lt. And then we had a 4-wide race with my car, the SVJ, the 765 lt and one of the R8's. Hope someone got it on vid

And before someone calls me out for 'flexing', if you dont like this, you are officially NOT a car guy!

Enjoy!

Well, it was fun as hell to watch. I dont think there was a person there that was not enjoying the spectacle. The sound of that car is something to be hold!

We have 2 Blu Glauco SVJ's local. Actually one now. A few days ago my buddy with the coupe sold his Blu Glauco one and then replaced with an Aranchio Atlas one.

Do you really feel that entitled to fuk up public or private property with your tire burn? You’re not any different from Antifa thugs destroying public property. Perhaps worse because they believe they’re doing it for a good cause, you do it because you’re just a dik trying to flex. Hope someone skid all over your drive way

What a douche comment. Did you read that they asked us to the track to shoot promo material for an upcoming event? They gave us that entire area at the speedway entrance to use and the director and promoter, who had permission, was directing the 'action'.

Same. Go and drive it around an actual track, drift it if you have to have some sideways. I suspect the people that do this can't really drive they cars they buy, the next vid from OP will be of these cars 'racing' in a straight line.

i'm not a hater. i'm happy for other's hard work, hard won success and love to see it. i like Ferraris and some Lambos. but donuts and these juvenile shenanigans do nothing for me. i was waiting for the two poor girls in the middle to get hit by the numbskull driver and win Darwin Awards. i guess i'm not a real "car guy". or maybe this appeals to the teenager "Fast & Furious" crowd which i am not a part of.

There no justification for a car worth 850K USD. NONE

Not when we live in such a fuked up and unequal world, it's just pathetic waste and gluttony. I don't care if they donate crumbs afterwards, such a blatant display of greed and waste is sad and pathetic. While they play with their expensive toys and prostitutes this is the realty somewhere else on earth:

I am not sure many people have ever done that in a SVJ. There were about 800 made and with the value of the car, most keep them in a bubble. If you dont like it, thats cool. It was awesome in person.

Ha... I grew up without a lot also. In this country we all have the opportunity. I moved south at 21 after dropping out of school with all my belongs in garbage bags and milk crates in a 10 year old pickup that I bought working summers in construction. I worked my a$$ off. My first apartment, I lived in the south 95deg and never once turned the AC on because I could not afford to do so.

I had no furniture, except a school desk chair that someone gave me when I helped clean a storage unit. I had a tv on cinder blocks.

I worked very hard for many years. I took some very big risks and some paid off. So I feel zero guilt about succeeding in life. You also have no idea what I do for others. The great thing, is I can do that AND STILL have fun. Life is good. No guilt!..>EVER!

Funny the haters. That SVJ has also been on the track. Here is a vid of me tracking my Huracan. AND a vid of my 14 year old son driving my 860hp car and spinning in turn one coming off a 140mph straight and missing his braking point. Mind you that is the first time he EVER even drove a car.

How is that for your 'striaght-line' vids! You are clueless....

Just a fun day man. Great lunch with buddies and playing with cars on a BEAUTIFUL day. The guy driving is a former professional motorsports driver. He can do that napping. I would never attempt. Here is what he can do in his own car

Who are you to tell others how to live. The guy who owns that car, and several others like it, employs almost 1000 people. He puts food on all their tables. It is HIS hard work that gives those others to opportunity to EARN for their families. What do you know about creating opportunity for others? Just giving people money does not solve their issues. Creating opportunity for hard working people does however.

Should have posted these rather than teenage car park antics claiming 'if you dont like this, you are officially NOT a car guy!' For anyone learning to drive on a track this is totally the wrong car to learn.

It is called a fun, and unforgettable experience. I dont think it is something he or I will ever forget.

As for learning to drive on a track, my son has a kart. He is a better driver from an instinctual point than I am by far. I knew he would be fine in the car. That was one of the last runs of the day and he pushed a little too far. But he kept it on the track.

I bought a lotus for a better 'track' car. He went out in it with only two lessons on driving stick. He had no trouble reeling in the S2000 which was being driven by a 37 yo man..

We also have a full sim set up. Practicing now for an upcoming VIR event. He is 6 seconds a lap faster than I am. He is giving me pointers for improving my lines.

And.....I just bought another wide body lotus which we are turning into a track monster. Being shipped across the country right now. Already have the supercharger and going to really take it next level.

Anything else you want to tell me I am doing wrong?

So this 'race' was on a track?
No it was on a closed 10+ lane rd, about 2500 feet long which we were given permission to use. Not really a 'race'. Just having fun. The 765LT was being finicky about launch more. So I raced him once without using it on mine. The 765LT will walk my car from about 60 on. But I can hook and get quite a jump on him.

So any other wet blankets you want to throw around? You seem like you like to pick apart stuff. Perhaps you should be a critic.

^Now I know the full story and that karts + a lotus is involved, I'll happily eat my words. 'Mirin. Your kid is going to grow up one hell of a driver, props for using your cash to give him the chance.

Just got my first VR sim rig sorted last week. Not quite as nice as yours though!

The lambo on the track was his first time ever driving a car. But I have watched my son as he has grown up and knew he could handle it. It was all about the memories.

It is not about spending money, or making him a 'driver'. It is just about having super fun times together. I cant explain the joy that I feel getting to share these things with him. He is a great kid. A total non-flex type. His head is in the right spot. Eg...he does NOT want to get picked up from school in the lambo. He actually texted me to make sure I was going to drive the Kia one day I had to pick him up. He is a low key kid but really enjoys what we do.

The awesome thing is my friends fully embrace him. We rent out tracks so we have them all to our group. These guys welcome him out on the track with their cars knowing his age, etc. There is no insurance coverage out there, so that say volumes for the trust they put in a 14 yo kid. Just a cool thing to see. I also love how much better he is than me. I am a commercially rated helicopter pilot and an instructor. I think of myself as fairly capable of operating things at a high degree. But this kid kicks my a$$. It is the best thing ever to see your kids be better than you are.

Yea, I am not sure how many people have ever seen that. A lot of the guy poo-pooing the thing dont realize just what that car is, and the spectacle is not something you see every day. Some may put it down...but gearheads love raw displays of power and noise and smoke. It was a super fun thing to experience in person. We all had smiles on our faces for sure. Call me a child, yes, I was giddy!

Not when we live in such a fuked up and unequal world, it's just pathetic waste and gluttony. I don't care if they donate crumbs afterwards, such a blatant display of greed and waste is sad and pathetic. While they play with their expensive toys and prostitutes this is the realty somewhere else on earth:

utterly disgusting
How many llamas do you own? More than 1? How about chickens or goats or pigs? I'm sure there's people that can't even afford one llama. Why don't you share your stuff with those less fortunate? What's stopping you?

Or do you get to determine how much "stuff" one gets to own before it becomes excessive? Let me guess whatever is more than what YOU currently own right?
