Such society already exists, srs. Look into the EZLN controlled territories in the Mexican state of chiapas.

Google "EZLN" and become aware

-americans are pretty free and have more opportunities to succeed when compared to most other countries.
-education is out there, all you need to do is go and get it. theres so much information out there thats free/online but people choose not to take advantage of it.
-people are more informed now than ever. its just that they let their biases decide what information they receive and where to get it from. which circles back to how free we really are. people can make choices but choices have consequences
