Being eligible for parole doesn't mean he'll get it. If it was in America, I'd confidently say he'd never get parole no matter how many times he was eligible for it... or at least it would take decades. But I don't really know how things work in Austria.

Plus he's 85. Who knows how much longer he'll last.

Also he's not in a standard prison. He's in a special populations prison for the criminally insane.
