Walked around Toronto this weekend and let me tell you...
What an absolute chithole the Yonge and Dundas area is.
-front steps of Ryerson U completely covered in garbage. Garbage everywhere actually.
-homeless guy taking a dump
-homeless guy with his pant down playing with himself...not too sure what he was doing really. I could have done without the eye contact....
-dude sitting on the ground repeatedly dropping a bottle cap into a coffee and chanting "I cant stop till the bottle cap hits"
-randoms walking down the middle of the street and shouting weird chit
-no one even begging, literally just rotting
Didn't have to imagine the smell.

Not sure if srs
I won’t ever step foot in that area - least favourite spot in the entire city
Try walking around in forest hill, Lawrence park, little Italy, king west, the beaches etc
Obviously if you walk around in the worst area of any major city it’s gonna be trash ….
What’s the next thread? You walked around reagent park and were surprised how trash it was?

Ontario in general is facking awful.
That's why they're so desperate to fack up all the good parts of Canada with their BS. Misery loves company.

Just north of dundas square was rough. I used to walk through dundas square when I hit up the Ryerson gym a few years ago while at a trade show, and dont recall it being quite like that.
Wifes family is from the Yonge and Lawerence area. Much more decent there.

Only worse place for garbage was right near nipissing university on a side street in North Bay about ten years ago. garbage so bad you couldnt see the grass.
No homeless though, but the sharps (needle disposal) bin in the bathrooms were all overflowing at a couple places.

I returned in 2018 and was shocked at how dirty it had become. Homeless people everywhere that were not present before, trash in the streets, needles, wannabe ghetto kids being loud on the subway, panhandlers on every corner. The 180 was insane. It had become almost as bad as an American inner city.
Another thing not necessarily bad but surprised me was how Yonge Street had become 99% Asian. The condo tower boom was cool to see, however I heard the COL is insane now. And for what?
Toronto was once the shining jewel of North America ded fkin srs. An example of what a major city could be. Now it has fallen into chit because of liberalism.

Dundas square is my favourite spot in the city.
It’s like a circus out here.
U got the black Jesus group
U got the Muslim group
OccAsionally they fight with their mics
Random tranny’s in stilettos
You got the homeless
You got the demented
You got the drug addicts
And their drug dealers loitering eight behind them
All of them are just doing their own thing, not bothering anyone. It’s awesome. I can’t go downtown without walking around Dundas square to see the freak show

Right across the street where forever 21 used to be, I think it’s a Rogers now, there’s this autistic mute spreading the gospel.
He just stands on the side walk as ur walking to the light then screams “ ahhhhhhh”
Scares the chit out of people then hands them a Jesus flyer

I'm from about 5 hours away in the US and last time I went to Toronto was in 2008. Went just for shts overnight and stayed at a hotel on Bloor St. It was pretty clean as others have suggested but weird thing was most regular places closed at like 6pm on a Saturday. Just tried to look for the restaurant we ate at for dinner on google maps but couldn't find it, don't even remember what it was called.

Pretty sure there are homeless encampments claiming territory in public parks across the city.
You have to be in a neighbourhood with $3M+ townhouses for it to be decent. Everywhere else is being run into the ground.

Glad Toronto hasn’t fallen this far, but hearing Yonge and Bloor is sketchy shocks me. When I was there in 2018 it was still nice, although Yonge further down by Front was noticeably rough. I remember stepping over a homeless guy passed out in the middle of the fkin sidewalk. Before Toronto was only bad during Caribana lol. Imagine being a successful businessman walking out of your million dollar condo and randomly getting assaulted by some schizophrenic junkie like normie Brad did (sorry that happened to you btw, I would’ve jumped the ph@ggot with you if I saw it)
Cities in general are becoming cesspools. Toronto, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, even Austin and Miami. No major city is safe from this regardless of conservative or liberal governments.
