Downtown LA in the business district was getting like this 5 years ago, fck knows what its like now

any Americanos go up there recently after the border opened? i'm flying out there in 2 weeks, just want to see the how process went

Yonge and Dundas is pretty bad, fortunately I think that's about as worse as it gets and you happened to visit one of the worst areas lol. But half of downtown is a chithole with junkies and homeless ppl chitting on the streets or behind a mcdonalds.

I actually like the northern parts of downtown, like Yonge and St.Clair. Honestly alot of it just feels soulless and empty but with lots of traffic. Some cool shops to visit I guess. I remember some random dude walking up to me preaching about the NOI and Louis Farrakhan, lmao. There's all sorts of groups like that. Feels like a convention of crazies gathered into one place with trannies, black militant groups, christian missionaries, homeless and schizos all up in one place.

Recently we had problems with homeless putting up tent cities but fortunately we are not as forgone as California because the police actually kick them out, eventually.

Fortunately I live just north of all of this madness lmao. The one thing I can say about Toronto though is although you have stuff like property crime, we are very low compared to most cities internationally in terms of violent crimes, it's a very safe city overall. Gunshots fired that don't kill or injure anybody make the top of breaking news, and even that is pretty rare. Meanwhile in other cities gun violence, mostly peaceful stabbings and acid attacks are the norm.

And whos fault is it? Most major cities across Canada and the US are turning into chitholes. Mostly due to massive inequality and the inherent flaws of late stage capitalism.

Was driving around downtown LA and Beverley Hills last month. The homeless have all moved to the exterior neighborhoods, like the base of the hollywood hills or santa monica. I visited the historic Golds Gym at Venice Beach, and there's a tent city along one of it's property boundaries, separated only by a chain link fence. And a lot of the gym is outdoors. Brb, doing squats on a power rack literally 1 foot from a homeless guy sleeping.

Japan sucks, everyone is an alienated weirdo cuck over there.
