Fuk off I'm not a leftist. Not a city cel either. I live in my own ranch, generate my own electricity, source and properly treat and recycle my waste water and i from most of my food. So fuk off with that citycel bs. I'm a rural person but when i do travel into cities i hate driving with a passion and i appreciate cities with proper, clean and efficient public transport.

This would help against obesity a lot, since you would need to walk a bit until the nearest stop plus pedestrian friendly cities make you walk more although you enjoy it more
Totally missing the point. Americans in cities don't use public transport because of the people who are on public transport. Homeless, literal ****hots, gangbangers, etc.

If those who ran the buses and subways had the authority to exclude people from using their service, they'd get a lot more normal people on them. But enforcement of "equality" and being unable to judge some people as worse than others means that you have to deal with subhumans.

This also applies to where you live. Living in a "nice" area that's close enough to downtown, without any of the aforementioned city creatures, costs way too much for the average person. So in order for their kids to go to school and not get beat up/raped, they instead just get a less expensive place in the suburbs that requires an hour drive to go to their officecel job.

As usual, leftism means we can't have nice things.

I'm all for public transportation in cities, hell I'd even be willing to pay higher taxes for it. Ban cars for anyone living in cities and have them take electric busses or scooters/whatever. As long as it's harder for them to drive out here I'll be happy, keep them fuks contained

Lol at your estrogen comment you alienated cuck. While you drive like a cuck sissy to the fancy gym and to Walmart to buy your estrogen riddled fake food i work out naturally in my farm and eat the produce that i grow on my own like a real man.
You do see rich people using public transport in the actual developed world, Americans are too brainwashed and indoctrinated into consumerism so they HAVE to buy that bmw just like the oligarchs want because they're so brainwashed into submission.

Enjoy you pathetic sad life sitting in traffic drinking your soy latte while rotting away at planet fitness like a cuck.

You don't have chit on us the real and rural people.

Btw I have a masters in urbanism so i know way more about the subject.

THIS

Pedestrian friendly cities are also good for the economy, they stimulate small businesses and promote a healthier social dynamic. It's urbanism 101

Lol at real people. By your own posts your brag about being some trust fund homo, and make actual racist and dehumanizing comments whenever people point out your location. You probably have some pe.do dungeon where you keep all the third world children you pretend to care about like most of the degenerates in your social class, unless you're just a larping trolling p h a g g o t.

You've probably never had to work for a living, yet you're trying to call the shots for people who do. Your only experience with public transportation is when you go on vacation somewhere, and the whole experience is more like Disneyland, not something you have to grind through day in and day out.

Well if you don't live in a city you would have a very hard time getting around with public transportation. Heck I live just outside the major cities in the Bay Area, and it's literally impossible to get around here without a car.

Exactly. Heck when I was traveling around the French and Italian countryside I needed to have arranged transport of my own. Sounds like this dude has never really been around.

My city's public transit is terrible, easily 20 years behind where it should be for a city of a million people. They just built our first "subway" and it's been a disaster, constantly breaking down because they cheaped out and rushed the project.

So we need cars for the most part. When I lived in a city with decent public transit and a proper subway I never used my car and rode my bike everywhere except in winter, usually because it was faster than driving. But I also lived downtown where things like groceries were within walking distance. If you're in the suburbs it's almost impossible.

The public transport where I am is also garbage. It's just sad local governance can't do anything right. Public transport here is treated like a jobs program - janitors are making 200k, train conductors not replaced by a robot.

If we didn't separate the 'jobs areas' from the 'living areas' that would be much less of a problem. Imagine your neighborhood being around the place you work, and you just walk 15 minutes to get there.

I wish they would. ded srs. I hate driving. Everyone on the road is absent minded and texting a driving. My life is literally in their hands. It's the most unproductive activity. All you can do is listen to a podcast which is just mental masturbations anyways.

It's always people with big ass trucks tail gating, some ghetto piece of chit wana be driving like a thug blasting music or you got the bimbos with a starbucks in one hand and the phone in the other swerving their x3 all over the road. Fukk driving.

Its not my fault you havent left your bumfuk town, in the actually developed world theres efficient public transport 24/7.
you do know... in order for the world to work people need to live outside of cities.... you know go get and gather raw materials, mining for all your electronics and metals to build all your cities and transportations. farming to feed the population dense human zoos.

don't get me wrong, living in a clean, no crime, no poverty fantasy land sounds nice at a high-level thought. but when you actual start asking in the how do we accomplish you quickly realize you're living in fantasy land or your requirements will demand absolute obedience, basically slavery to the system and no freedom to work. which still provides a ruling superior class and a bunch of slaves.

I've been all over europe and developed asia where speed trains, subways, bussing is so efficient and time saving that I have a totally different outlook on cars and infrastructure in the US now.

i've taken public transport in my city for 2 years when i worked downtown and sure it was okay but you had to plan your day around bus routes, train routes, etc. sure some came every 15 minutes but if you missed it, you sit for 15 more, when outside rush hour it would come every 45 minutes, when you got time to burn and nothing to do, sure. i got a family and all kinds of events to take kiddos to, sports, cub scouts, doctors appointments, school, traveling on public transport with little kids all over the place is not ideal. so okay sure, let's thanos snap our population and cram everyone real close to make this work.

all because fuk cars... lol some people may like it but not me. i like to be able to hop in a car and go explore the mountains, hiking, adventuring, road trips to moab, lake mac, etc. to some people there is more to life than the busy hustle of city life of, sleep, work, home. if i had no kids and no desire of the outdoors and wanted to live in a 900sqft cement cube where all i did was work, sleep, home, then sure.
This, Eurotards don't understand how big the United States is, hence why people drive more on average and not everyone has a pathetic fartbox I4 eco boost gay model. Bigger cities tend to have less "proper urban development" because our city planners obviously aren't European and don't have experience/knowledge designing everything the same way.

Saw a social media trend recently about how big the US is compared to Europe.

One of the Euro comments was how they don't visit their grandparents much because they're so far away (45min drive) I was like and we're laughing.

Exactly what was trying to convey in 5 words or less lol . Public transportation would be lethal with our cultural enrichment
