The POS POVERTYFlorida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles

DMV

F*CK OFF STATE/Gov WORKERS

They are using Covid as an excuse. Appointments only. 40 days until I can get in. My driver license expires in 5 days and I need to fly in 2 weeks.

On hold for 55mins so far on the phone.

It's my fault for not realizing sooner i guess.

Damn that sucks. My government privatized registry services so I didn't even have to wait in line. Took me 3 minutes to renew and the new one came in the mail a few days later. Has a picture of a dinosaur on it too.
They got little baby legs that stand so low
you got to pick 'em up just to say hello.

The DMV in Florida was so nice and helpful when i had to interact with them compared to when I lived in Illinois. I just remember I was surprised and impressed.

The local DMV in Illinois was the pits. Toward the end of my living in the Land of Lincoln I'd find myself traveling 40 minutes away to a smaller town that had better friendlier motor vehicle service.

Tx you can renew online. Just did a change of address/renewal on mine earlier this year, took maybe 15 minutes and had the new one delivered within a week or so. Same with the wife. Come on FL brah, step up your game...

The DMV seems to suck everywhere. All those government workers are the worst people to ever deal with when you need something from them in my experience.

Weird, the DMV where I'm at in Florida was awesome. Super helpful, no wait.

It's also amazing how much less Florida tries to bankrupt you just for operating a vehicle than California did.
