Don't even care, it looked alright. What makes it gay is the silly attitude if 2020 people wore it. Could you imagine hulk hogan wearing that and looking gay? (Slightly, but it's the character that is paired with stuff that makes the difference) E.g, a skinny nerd being a douchebag bully, no way lol.

Funnily enough adults were doing the exact same thing lol. Uploading old clips with metal in the background. Lol, that was insanely perfect.

Seriously though, why do you think this happened at around 2012/2013(ish)? I feel as if it's phones and ease of access to the internet. That somehow branched off other retarded issues?
You're right we all acted like Jackass or WWF wrestlers and listened to nu metal and then it was MMA/Jersey Shore/lifting and hardcore music and it all disappeared around late 2014. Like almost every dude was just a douche back then but now it's the opposite everyone just looking at phones acting docile and listening to feminized music. I know for a fact the change happened in very late 2014 though. Maybe early 2015.

Just check out this video from the mid 2000's. So much nostalgia. I never see people acting like this anymore. Let alone listening to this music.

Exactly that, that change in going from Jackass/Wresting/Metal to MMA/Jersey Shore/Lifting in a few years was perfect aswell. Made sense and it was genuine progress/a step forward, as I can definitely see how a typical guy would have that thought process. The douchey behaviour was fine, cos people would bash eachother, then go on to reminisce about the fight they had 5 minutes ago lol.

Fight now and there'd be ******** uproars, videos shared, families torn apart, protestors, newspaper reports etc lol. I hate how everyone functions these days.

Yeah haha, even though he looks like a typical nerd. Look at his shirt, pretty cool. They both look natural, key word being natural and not posing like a pansy for media.

Another thing, 1 thing that stood out recently. Look at this movie trailer.

So epic, watched it a billion times. Compare that to any modern movie, or even fast and furious 6+, all gay and weird in the trailers.

It was the alpha body language and aggression from that time that doesn't exist now. 10-15 years ago every guy was a mouthy douche but they still had cool personalities not wimpy gay personalities like now. Like we would talk chit and do locker room talk around anyone but now someone would just complain about how something offended them. For some reason now there are no tolerance policies everywhere where everyone has to be nice and kiss each others asses. It wasn't like this before and you can see it in old footage like wrestling or jersey shore. And it's not just an age thing even people in their 20s are nowhere near as alpha as previous generations.

Yeah definitely. The thing is, in 2009, you didn't have to act like the Jersey guys or a street tough guy to get around. Could've been a basic guy into basic things. Even the skinny nerds playing WOW/Runescape 24/7 weren't so bad. They'd get beaten up in school or just hang out as normal, but it didn't affect the balance 2009 had. All kinds of crazy characters, from harsh bullies to emos/goths, wasn't a big deal.

That's so weird though. I mean, as soon as you get mad at the fragile people, I swear they'd just phone the police and spread your face everywhere, then boom, everyone's your enemy. I've seen it on ********, pretty bizarre.

Yeah definitely, the old videos on YouTube were so awesome, so ****ing badass. Would definitely hang out with those guys. Too bad they became extinct?

Yeah, the people in their 20s now suck big time compared to the 2010 people in their 20s. Both men and women.

2010 just had everything so perfect. Not even 1 flaw about it.

The thing is man is that dudes in their 20's or early 30's or whatever don't act like men. Like half the population now is fragile. 10+ years ago it was rare to see actual nerds, and if you did you could still joke with them and most were cool or they would just go hang out with other nerds. Now these nerds just act like being masculine or normal or whatever is weird or they will go tell on you for saying chit. Like they have no idea how things were pre 2012. They just think whatever this new gay trend is now is normal. Pre 2012 era is literally getting to the point where it's old and only older people will remember it. Even thought it feels like it was just yesterday.

Somehow around 2013-2014 things went from being pretty alpha to being pretty gay and i don't understand how it happened so fast.

It's weird watching old footage from like 20 years ago

Just look at the energy, music, content etc there's nothing on TV now that can compare nowadays

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. Friends of mine who were once cool have changed along with the shift. It's like they have 0 willpower. Something I didn't realise until I witnessed their entire persona shift.

The older people in their late 20's who lived in that era have also morphed, which makes it 10x more confusing. Like, surely people have brains to decide your own destiny.

You're wrestling post is pretty crazy. Look at the people in the crowds from old vs new wrestling. The crowd in old wrestling look like they want to get up on stage and tear everyone apart. New crowds look awkward with 0 energy. There's so many things to pick up on, it's insane.

It goes even past late 20's. It's like people up to age 35 now are into feminine stuff like anime, lbgtq, cartoons and other weird chit that people 20 years ago would not even think about. I remember turning on the TV after like 4 years in 2016 and saw this and literally didn't know what i was watching. Felt like i entered a parallel world. This stuff really started in 2012 with anime and Minecraft and chit getting popular but now it's 100x worse.

So sad and confusing to see. Seeing how badass 2010 was, you'd expect it to progress linearly into something absurdly/unthinkably amazing.

Like, 2010 = Ripped/jacked/aviators/xtreme hardcore clubland/7% bf/blasted haircuts etc, then have 2021 somehow be 100x more hardcore/badass for the guys/girls. But instead we regressed into a jacked 2010 guys nightmare I swear lol.

This. Everyone is a sensitive pussy. Some kid at my gym literally started crying and reported us for bullying because we made a comment about him not getting laid.

10 years ago it would have just been funny and he'd rip on us back. Now they just go crying and post about it on social media hoping to find support from other losers.

Hahaha!! You made a kid at the gym cry? I hope he wasn't ripped lol. (Imagine a huge ripped rambo kid leaving the gym with tears in his eyes)

True nonetheless, that guy u quoted got banned for repetitively telling these 2012 ideas.

It was some high school kid. They've taken over my gym, it's annoying. They literally fit the description of people being criticized in this thread. Not a hint of masculinity and all look the same. Just little bitch boys

That's a shame. I was wondering why he got banned. Dude posts the truth and good content. Sure it's a bit repetitive but not ban worthy. Guess the misc is joining the cancel culture as well...

Hahaha lol, still funny though. Teenagers in 2010 were so much more hardcore than the low test regular ones these days. Especially the 2010 teen lifters. It's crazy how things have changed so ridiculously. (Typical gym guy 2021 - silly wireless headphones, high socks showing ankles, short back and sides, frail persona/image, £1000 clothes, social media awkward. Typical gym guy 2010 - ripped, spiked out haircut, stained baggy trackies with random design shirt, proper douchebag.)

Atleast that's what I think, he's been banned more than twice from what I remember and misc doesn't show if it's permanent, so who knows I guess.

Come on, 1995 was far too long ago. Yeah that era was badass aswell, but 2000-2012 was the true ultimate era.

Like, when I was growing up, these kinds of roided douchebags were how I wanted to be like. Pretty much Zyzz variations, pre Zyzz aswell.

Funnily enough, gym culture back when you guys joined the misc (2005-2011) were completely flooded with these kinds of people. You most likely tried to look like this, people wherever you went looked like this aswell. (Frosted tips spiky hair, capped delts, aviators, tribal tattoos, etc)

It's weird, as current culture for guys is to wear skinny jeans showing ankles, gay circle glasses, be a skinny gay weed or fat and gross, introvert awkward talk on their little social media iphones 24/7, go out just to go back inside, have "mental health issues". Pathetic lol.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was the original gym icon and he was the terminator, so obviously he was tank lol.

But seriously, when I finally grew up, I was kind of disappointed that the misc and gym people are just kind of regular people who go to the gym. Where as before 2010/11ish, they were these ultimate douchebags on this pedestal, and the surrounding population would be trying to fit in. Wasn't anything to overthink aswell, as it was the norm.

But yeah, the old gym misc style. Looks a ton better than the current trash.

Really how it should be man, this is really as it should be and now?

I think the misc is at a very important turning point right now. If the misk doesn’t fight for who men should be where are they going to go? To Reddit? Lol

Especially with what’s going on with me, if it comes to fruition. The misk will be in a very important spot. It needs to defend the image of the gym man and uphold what men should be. Not tj mention mold global culture and turn it into somethjbg that all men from every corner of the globe should strive tj be. Taking those various cultures from around the world and molding them into something that men everywhere would be proud of and men could be. What men strive tj be and if bodybuilding.com doesn’t think that this is the misks position in the world well then? I think I’d like tj have a talk with the management at bodybuilding because really should the jersey shore ever really die? Negative

I have a YouTube video for

If bodybuilding.com doesn’t defend it than who will defend it, no one and bodybuilding should not let that happen to the world.

Yeah!! Guys are meant to be built like walls and have the most horrendous personas like Steveo. Then yeah, you're basically a man who understands what's going on. This was normal pre 2012 aswell?

Like, obviously don't go overboard with the perfect persona and threaten grandma's lol.

Hahaha!! I liked your comment on contacting bb management lol!! Yeah, the Jersey Shore kind of thing was just an upgrade/mainstream guide for the gym douches pre Jersey Shore. Then it somehow vanished and was replaced with social media awkward pencilboys in a matter of years?

Also, first few seconds of your Southpark clip, "reverse cowgirl" haha caught me off guard lol.
