I've wanted this surgery for at least 5+ years. Finally made the conscious decision to have it in the first quarter of next year after many consultations in person and over the phone. I'm having it done in Turkey where my height will be increased by at least 15cm (5 inches). Never had issues with women (will probably get more after). Never had issues with professional life. Strictly my own decision that's concerned with my own self-image and priorities. Not my first cosmetic surgery but this one will probably be the most intensive. ask away boyos.

I'll be updating this thread with updates regarding my procedure up until after the operation

Hey brahs. This is going to be my first update after my original post paving the way towards surgery date. Today I had another consultation with an Orthopedic regarding my surgery (my first time seeing her). We evaluated the health of my femurs/tibulas followed by x-rays and then a face to face discussion about this decision. From a standpoint of cosmetic surgery she could understand why I'm doing it but from the standpoint of her own medical expertise, she probably thought I was out of my mind in the most nonchalant way. She was 50/50 considering the risk vs reward. In the 10 years she's been practicing she never had a patient who underwent through LL but theoretically it's a surgery that has been proven to be a success in many patients but since it's a niche procedure she went to go consult with her director who advised me to go to one of the more prestigious special surgery hospitals in state for orthopedic operations that perform LL. Due to the cost (Over 100,000 USD) I explained the decision on why I'm opposed to it understandably.

Out of the all the Dr's who I've spoken to excluding the one's who perform LL I got mixed reactions but the one commonality that they've all had was that they gave me the greenlight. The most interesting thing I've learned during this whole process is that in Vietnam after speaking to a couple Doctor's there over messages and patients, there's many top Doctor's performing LL at a fraction of the cost on the Tibula but not on the Femurs. Supposedly, if you want to gain the extra inches on the Femur you have to search a lot deeper on who lengthens in it due to some regulations but overall as stated by some patients who I spoke to, Vietnam has a high success rate from a very niche group of Doctors for a fraction of the cost which was very surprising. Spoke to one guy who's already squatting and deadlifting heavy 6 months later from LL. "Supposedly" they don't consider it a cosmetic surgery there (source: forums) Either way, I'd consider Vietnam but that's only if things go sideways and a last resort because then it'd make me consider a lot more factors like getting a translator and housing.

Judging from the accounts of many patients around the world who are undergoing LL as well as the increased popularity/advancement of methods my educated guess is that similar to Lasik and it's inception, we will have centers strictly dedicated to LL within the next decade.

Moving forward, my next step is sending these x-rays to my Doctor who I've already decided will be the one who will be operating on me and we'll go from there after he examines them. I'll keep you guys updated - Cheers

Five foot 6. Price is 35,000 euros which is about 40k USD. In the US it's about 100K +. Recovery is about 3-5 months for the first portion, then second portion takes a bit more longer. We're extending my femurs first, then tibias.

Not concerned at all. Besides walking, fkuking and weight lifting, that's the only real athletic activity I do. I've been told I'll regain my normal abilities to do all those things with time and recovery.

Look into before and after for many LL patients. The majority of them look a lot proportional after. Usually if you have the right dr they'll tell you what would be the limit or (safe zone) when it comes to proportions. I'd rather take the extra height and compact juicy frame with height increase brah

I would get it too if I had the means. I’m 6’1 but my calves are very short. Looks weird long thighs and super short calves. If I had 2 inches in height on my calves it would balance out with the length of my thighs.

Im not at all against self improvement, even through surgery but 5 inches? Holy chit man. You realize what hell you’re signing up for?

I read a guy’s blog who’s done the surgery in turkey. Mf was crying in bed from pain discomfort and helplessness for months, chitting his pants in some motel regretting the decision. After a couple of inches of gradual lengthening, every mm becomes excruciating, the pain, the constant tightness like your muscles will snap, the spasms, the aches up and down your body.

5 inches you are looking at two years of recovery and after that you wont be without issues/discomfort.
