Can someone point me to aSource OLDER THAN A MONTH, where saying someone has "rubber lips" means they are lying?

He didn't say rubber lips. He compared his lips to Michelin tires.

It was obviously a racist statement, but his damage control was good on that one. Too bad someone wants him gone because he just resigned.

The link you posted says that the phrase "rubber lips" does NOT allude to someone being a liar.

The source you post says UrbanDictionary says it has to do with mangled pronunciation or forming your lips like Mick Jagger.
These definitions would make sense.

But these definitions are NOT talking about lying.

Also, I asked for a Source OLDER THAN A MONTH, so that people can't pop up with new "wikipedia changes"

How was his damage control good on that one?

He said "rubber lips" means lying. Thus Michelin Tires would mean a BIG LIAR (lots of rubber to those lips).


Nobody can come up with a source where it means lying. Only sources where it DOES NOT mean lying.

sixnine was never mainstream, and he still got cancelled by the people anyways.

Someone almost cancelled him permanently.

I've never heard of rubber lips before, but sometimes people come up with their own personal made up terms for insults. Also calling someone big lips or comparing their lip size to a tire still isn't a racist insult on its own. It's just simply an insult.

This is a RACIAL insult in the very sense of the word, not just discriminatory.

Yet you specifically say "the bigger lips of African Americans, which they are born with".

Pretty sure that makes OP the racist (assuming or associating characteristics with race exclusively) , and not Gruden.

even if thats exactly what he meant by the comment that still doesnt make him a racist. if he makes fun of someones lips that doesnt mean he hates the entire race of people.

Gruden says rubber lips in a ten year old email…time stop. Former players cry. The country grinds to a halt. Such a tragedy. Meanwhile blacks murder and rape every other race very disproportionately. They don’t seem to care about THAT racism.

Yeah Gruden is clearly a racist, thats why he works in an industry that has a huge amount of African Americans in it. If he was truly a racist bigot it would've shown on the field already, and so many players wouldn't love him.
Its sad he had to resign, because I promise you if you go back and look at old text messages or chats most people have said something racist or homophobic or something bad.
