Not looking too bad but still looks a little early for competitions in my opinion.

He is nowhere near his natty limit. Im taking a shot in the dark in saying that he is a generic gym guy that really has no clue what he is doing. He needs a coach that can feed him and give him a good routine.

He has a good base (pic on the right)

if he gets on a right progressive overload program + gets his diet in check , he could get juicy within a year or two max

Bulking up big time as a natty is a no no, most of it will be fat.

He can definitely put on a bit more mass - I did, but not that much more. Looks like he's dreamer bulking in between, so he probably spends an inordinate amount of time in cutting phases, inevitably losing muscle mass in the process. 2 steps forward, 1 step back forever.

So is it inconceivable that someone could have slightly worse genetics than you?

It's possible. He might be doing everything right, but judging by that before picture, I dunno. Don't let people's social medias fool you. Look at jenoy cresva - he kept claiming he was doing everything right and was at burger king every other day.

If you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to see a photo of you at peak physique, assuming you're natural. Would be a nice comparison ITT.

Here's a recent one of me, just before I started cutting end of summer or first week of cut or something. Crappy pic, kinda soft and bloated. 5'10, 175 ish. Training consistently for a bit over a decade. Failed multiple times along the way but learned a lot. Mind you, I used to be 40 pounds heavier than this when I joined these boards to educate myself. We're all chunky in my family. Abysmal diet and gut health as a child.

I would say the average genetic limit is higher

literally has no chest. You said he has a coach? That really doesn't mean much considering everyone who posts a workout on social media is a "coach". If he is natty, bulked up to 200+, and had a competition weight of 145 then his coach is garbage. Unless he didn't really follow the advice, but then he is probably just some gym bro who doesn't know what he is doing. Genetics is a convenient excuse, and also used by most people who don't have the body they want

He's in good shape compared to the general public because he's not fat, but he has very little muscular development lol. Literally looks like a normal guy who doesn't lift, who's gotten lean.

This is 2017 at my first competition. I was 187lbs at 6ft 3 and natty.
As of now I left humanity so any comparisons would not be fair.

My chest is better than yours but you mog me everywhere else - and by a lot. Tbh my chest might even just look better because everything else is comparatively smaller 😂

If we put my chest on your body we could make a GOAT natty physique

In fairness he posted some pics of him at like 160 and he looked better, more full and pumped but not shredded

I dunno how long he’s been lifting - he’s had a fitness Instagram for 4 years, so presumably being lifting for 5 or 6- maybe more.

eating like sht (bulking too fast/cutting too fast) / not training hard enough or not properly or (probably) a combination of all of these (ded srs)

tell me his maxes on squats/deadlifts/bench/front squats/weighted pull ups + show me his diet (even estimations) and I'll tell you what's wrong

[img]https://i.imgur.com/W0pITlN.jpg[/mg]
This is about the natty limit right here for anyone wondering... Give or take a little size in certain body parts if you have good genetics for it. For someone who's a manlet at around 5'9" you're looking at 150ish lbs shredded.

Rally good natty physique tbh, I reckon thats around the limit for someone with good genetics.

What awould you guess that is at 5'11 btw? Was thinking in the region 165-70?
