Lamar Runningback Jackson

Dude can’t throw lmao. He had a nice run at the end of the half though. Not bad for an RB

He made some good throws after a rough start though and then led his team to victory

Will he ever throw 250 yards again

Probably not

Too one dimensional. We don’t forget him putting up 3 points in the playoffs last year and then quitting on his team

I only watched bits and pieces of the game but his interceptions were terrible like WTF bad.

Still did enough to win though so can't really fault him too much.

I don’t think he needs to be able to throw as well as a “normal” QB, because he is so ridiculous with his feet. People judge him for not throwing for a ton of yards, but if he has 100 rushing yards, and his RBs have a bunch of yards because they bit on his option plays, that replaces a lot of passing yards

I think his career will be one of the shorter ones of this era though. Not because he will get injured necessarily (he’s pretty good at staying out of harms way), but because once he loses athletic ability with age, he isn’t going to be able to drop back and beat you. He may get better at passing by then, but it doesn’t seem likely.

I'd say 27 of the other 31 NFL would rather have him as their QB then who they currently have.

Not necessarily true. Each time is "designed" differently and placing a shifty QB like LJ on a pass-first type team with a chit O-line could be trouble for him.

He’s the ultimate pretender. In 4 games in the playoffs he has 3 touchdowns and 5 picks, 55% completion percentage, 900 passing yards. And has a 1-3 record

Yeah that has nothing to do with coaches and weapons. Brady and Mahomes don't make the playoffs on the Ravens last year.

"Lamar Jackson became first QB in NFL history to complete 85% of his passes in a 400-yard game.

He recorded highest completion percentage in a 40-pass game in NFL history (86.0%)"

Not bad for a RB.

Not bad indeed against a 1-3 team with 3 unknown rookies in the defensive back field. Dude was hot garbage for 3 quarters, but I guess we'll just let the box score watchers have their moment.

Lamar has dominated two terrible defenses (Chiefs and Colts). Let me know when he does it against the Bills or something.

Aren't you a Ravens fan? You would know best that the Ravens have been DECIMATED by injuries..... right? Stupid ******* doesn't even know the basics about his own damn team. Do me a favor, stop coming into threads about the Ravens so you don't get embarrassed you fat disgusting creature

Only concern for me is it sustainable?

We've seen a lot of these quarterbacks fall off when they lose their mobility and their speed, i.e. Cam Newton. For pure pocket passers like Brady, Brees, Manning, etc., they had continued success. But when Murray, Lamar, Mahomes, can't run and escape the pocket, will they just fall off entirely?

This won't happen for like 7-8 years, but something to consider. Otherwise dude is completely unfazed by everything and had the best game to date so far. Quite literally could kick this dude in the nuts and he wouldn't care, guys a winner, and hope the best for him.

Cam Newton =/= Lamar Jackson

If you are comparing their running styles you're def wrong. Cam was a Battering Ram, Lamar is straight speed and is elusive as hell who doesn't take big hits. His biggest hits are in the pocket. Randall Cunningham is a better comparison as he was able to sustain success from 85-01 in a league that was MUCH tougher than today's game

Relax Bitch Boy, I know facts hurt your feelings. I didn't say he didn't have a good stat line, I pointed out the fact that he didn't turn it on until the entire Colts secondary was injured, which is a fact. His numbers show an incredible stat line, realistically it was an incredible 4th quarter/OT.

1st Half: 100 yards, 0 for everything 3rd down conversions, tripping over his own feet, fumbling the ball, missing Marquise Brown in the end zone, missing Mark Andrews for what should have been an easy throw and catch. He looked rattled, and looked like he was trying too hard.

A couple good breaks for his team, and he picked it up in the 2nd half, but you're kidding yourself if you think he played great the whole game. He comes out like that against LAC next week and they don't stand a chance.

It's incredible how one small statement to look beyond the box score sends you into some kind of homosexual LGBTQ fueled rage. Nut up, pussy.

Once again you aren't taking in the whole picture on this team. How many RB are they down? Watkins went out early, Bateman hasn't played a down yet. Multiple starting OL were out.... Context is important
