Where does this idea that Lamar Jackson has no help come from?
Hollywood Brown- 24 year old former 1st round pick. 450 yards and 5 Tds so far this year emerging as a star
Mark Andrews- Pro Bowler in 2019 and one of the best tight ends in the league
Sammy Watkins- Former top 5 pick. And when healthy and last time he got more than 90 targets he put up 1000 yards and 9TDs
And he has first round pick Rashod Bateman coming back from injury soon.
How much fukkin help does Lamar need? Fukkin sick of ESPN acting like he’s playing with trash

Andrews is good, suffers through drops tho. Watkins can't stay healthy (just got hurt last game) and was never ever to put all the pieces together. He will never be a #1 option either. Bateman hasn't stepped 1 foot on an NFL field yet you count him as someone who Lamar can depend on.... just LMFAO do you even fukn understand the best ability is availability and that dude hasn't put on a jersey yet for the Ravens yet you count him as a reason Lamar has help?

And Andrews only has 1 drop on the season so far. He’s having a good year

He isn't creating massive amounts of separation due to his route running or anything other than safetys and LBs have keyed in on the running game and will try and blanket Andrews across the middle (who's having a good year like I said, but throughout his NFL career has been filled with drops) Brown gets 1v1 coverage that NO other #1 WR would naturally get. Just because you put up stats doesn't make you a #1 WR...
See JuJu Smith Schuster when he had his breakout year and the Steelers went with him as the #1 going forward. How'd that turn out?
Last year Robby Anderson had 95 catches for nearly 1100 yards. That make him a #1 WR?

His big night the other night. Not a single impressive throw. Lots of curl routes cause the defense was scared he’d burn them. But yeah Lamars not threading the needle here. With a more talented qb that allowed brown to run a full route tree he’d be torching defenses even more than he is.
Lot at “no separation” Hes wide open

He can't get off man coverage consistently. He's too little. There were plenty of examples last year and parts of this year where on go routes he can't keep his defender from pushing him towards the sideline. He doesn't have great hands, constantly dropping balls. The Dolphins game and Colts we're the first he's been consistent all year. His big night the other night. Not a single impressive throw. It's not even a Lamar thing. When Mcsorely came in for Lamar last year Brown dropped multiple 3rd down balls also.
Consistent separation vs man coverage. There are only a select few #1 WRs in this league.. Hollywood is not it.
Defense have an EXTREMELY tough time playing straight man against Lamar cause that means multiple DBs have their back to Lamar and a potential free lane to run against. So they never strictly play it but def play zone or different variations of it.
Hope you learned something today lil guy

And in 4/5 games he has 60+ yards and a touchdown. That’s pretty fukkin game.
He has 2 drops on the year, which isn’t an excessive amount, that’s right in line with what you’d expect. That’s the same amount as tyeek, Moore, chase etc.
So when Watkins and Bateman are both healthy is this false narrative of Lamar not having weapons gonna die?

Well like with anything.... IT DEPENDS ON HOW THEY PRODUCE. I can't believe I have to type this out. Are you under the delusion that's not how the NFL or sports in general works?
60+ yards is not #1 WR material.. how many fukn times do I gotta keep repeating that. Do you understand the difference between a true #1 and a complimentary WR?
The #1 WRs produce even against coverages schemed specifically AGAINST THEM. That ain't happening with Brown

Quite simply in years prior, you could argue against Marquise, but he's putting together the best season in Baltimore history.

No one is going against the Ravens saying "in order to beat them we have to stop Hollywood Brown". That's just not happening. He's not getting coverages rolled to him, they aren't specifically scheming him out of anything. They normally just play Brown straight up and press him, or they are playing zone making sure that Lamar stays in front of them

You gotta be fuking kidding me
Sammy watkins is average
Brown isn't a number 1 on most teams in the NFL
Bateman hasn't even played yet
All of their real running backs are hurt
His offensive coordinator is the same one that flamed out in Buffalo and San Francisco

They have a good line and once Bateman comes back I think they will have a nice complementary if receivers. But before this season Lamar has not had good weapons at all. Brown is like Ty or Desean Jackson it’s a lot of feast or famine, the majority of QBs would of struggle with these ravens receivers in the past.
Lmao Sammy Watkins, dudes a shell of himself

For quality control any numbers accumulated thru games against KCs defense should be eliminated and removed from your analysis...

Anyways, black people that defend him are the ghetto types. There was a rumor back in like 2014 or 2015 that Russell Wilson wasn't considered "black enough" for the Seahawks.
It's definitely a thing.
When Peyton Manning played the Seahawks in the Superbowl, they never talked about this white vs. black QB thing. When Peyton played the Panthers in the Superbowl. They made it about Cam Newton being black all the time.
