nope, they treat them for infections and put them in a facility where there are beds and food (instead of eating whatever is left on the streets and sleeping under bridges)

As I have had to deal with drug addicts a few times in my life, let's just say I don't give a damn what happens to them. Throw them in the ocean for all I care. Worthless trash.

For the ones that do recover and keep up with it, hopefully they redeem themselves.

Seems like a good idea but I have a feeling this will have a massive relapse rate. Relapse rate is already massive among addicts, nevermind in a fuking chit hole like that. Maybe if they recruit them into their ranks as labour workers for a few months afterwards. Fuking them back out onto the streets afterwards ain't gonna work.

They need something to do and occupy their time once released. They should set them up with jobs after this for the best chance of success.

Looks to me they give them a proper 'wake-up call' beating b4 putting them in shelters with food, beds and medical attention. All this will do is put the fear of God in them and force them to kick their debilitating addiction. Be it crack, heroin or other destructive substances that capture and destroy an individual.

Anyone that knows the least about these drugs should know it's not about freedom of choice anymore at that point. An individual is totally owned by the substance they're using.

Islam is right about druggies.

Gonna give a props to the Tali's on this one. Don't care if negged

ya i figure if they can force them to detoxify and then push some islam fear of allah shiet on them, it could be a reasonably effective method srs. obviously a good amount of them will still relapse, but thats always an outcome even with the best of the best western addiction "treatments".

opium addicts living under bridges of your city arent good for anyone, they need to be forcible removed and treated. this is one area i agree with the taliban.
