Yesterday we ran a call for a 27 year old male with a chief complaint of chest pain. No other symptoms. He was thin and reported that his only previous medical history was seasonal allergies.

EKG was abnormal...~2mm of ST segment elevation in three contiguous leads with reciprocal changes, and T wave inversion in several other leads.

That is an EXTREMELY abnormal finding in someone of this demographic (young/healthy), and are consistent with signs of myocardial infarction.

He told us that he received his vaccination about 2 weeks ago.

Don't get hung up on antibodies, if you had antibodies currently in your blood from all the diseases you are immune to, you would be DEAD!

it is natural for all anti bodies to wane over time ...what is important is that you retain T cells and memory Cells, which will activate the antibody response in the long term if the infection comes back.........this is generally located in Blood Marrow

Do any of them state which vaccine they've taken?

I can’t recall any of our patients mentioning which vaccine they took. I was debating asking them from here on out, but I kinda feel like it’s none of my business.

Yesterday we ran a 62 year old female presenting with seizures. Her husband stated that they had just come home from the pharmacy, where she received her vaccine.

No previous history of seizures.

Probably unrelated.

Crazy stories, wow.
If you were to estimate a count of "covid reactions" how many would you guess you have dealt with?
I have still not heard of anyone in my circles having a bad one but that is only about 100 people +/-

My wife and I have a friend who visited from out of town over the summer. She works as a 911 dispatcher in a big city and has for 5+ years. She definitely noticed an uptick of calls from people who were recently vaxed (i.e. seizures in a healthy teen, heart issues, etc). I can only imagine how many they get from those who have issues weeks/months after and isn't immediately obvious.

Our old neighbor developed serious heart issues after the vaxx.

Even had a surgery and got attached an artificial vein. Him or his family didnt even consider it might have something to do with the vaxx.

Ah, so your concerns are only with the booster trial?

Are you thinking a 3rd dose will introduce issues not seen with the first 2?

Pediatric claim? That the trial is ongoing? Is it not?

VAERS has been discussed as nauseum on the misc.

I bold’ed your statement to remind you

Vaers is used to find patterns in the data, do you see any patterns?
Iceland has flat out stopped using moderna , why is that?
Sweden and Denmark has stopped moderna under 30 years old, why is that?
I would guess that the risk of vaccine side effects are greater than the benefit of the vaccine, in both cases

Multiple nation’s decisions build credibility of the vaers data

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the ongoing pediatric trial.

The booster trial seems to be going well according to the document you shared.

"The reactogenicity profile within seven days after the booster (third) dose was typically mild to moderate. The most common events included injection site pain, fatigue, headache, muscle and joint pain, and chills. The frequency of any severe systemic event after the booster dose was low. The frequency of reactogenicity was similar to or better than after dose two of the primary series. The adverse event profile was generally consistent with other clinical data for COMIRNATY."

I'm not sure how VAERS relates to European policy since VAERS is US only.

Canada's adverse reaction tracker has 17,982 total events out of 56,151,862 doses or a rate of 0.032%. Serious adverse events total 4,675 or 0.008% of all doses administered.

Much lower risk compared to COVID and comes with the benefit of allowing chit to open up, not missing 1-2 weeks of work on showing symptoms, etc

You have to factor in the chance of actually catching covid in the first place into the equation knucklehead. THEN the chance of adverse reaction.

By voluntarily injecting the vaccine, you are at 100% risk of exposure to adverse reaction.

This is your mother who you said lived with Ovarian cancer for five years? Sorry for your loss.

What vaccine did she receive? How exactly do you know this wasn’t reported as an adverse reaction and why wasn’t it?

Uhh..antibody count falls by 40% monthly post 2nd shot

Results A total of 2,653 individuals fully vaccinated by two doses of vaccine during the study period and 4,361 convalescent patients were included. Higher SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody titers were observed in vaccinated individuals (median 1581 AU/mL IQR [533.8-5644.6]) after the second vaccination, than in convalescent individuals (median 355.3 AU/mL IQR [141.2-998.7]; p<0.001). In vaccinated subjects, antibody titers decreased by up to 40% each subsequent month while in convalescents they decreased by less than 5% per month. Six months after BNT162b2 vaccination 16.1% subjects had antibody levels below the seropositivity threshold of <50 AU/mL, while only 10.8% of convalescent patients were below <50 AU/mL threshold after 9 months from SARS-CoV-2 infection.

You feel the extra couple months of detectable antibodies are worth the risk of (intentional) infection?
