Never had a temperpedic but I’ve always bought high end mattresses.
By current mattress is a dream cloud hybrid.
Every mattress I buy is great for about 2-3 years, and sleep like a baby. After that they start to get more uncomfortable.
Next time I’m buying a cheaper (like $400-$500) king size spring mattress, and buying a memory foam topper.
And just change out the topper as it wears down.
The problem with going full tempurpedic is that they are annoying to have sex on and they run hot

My temperpedic was worth every penny. Got their second to highest end mattress, a $3500 very firm mattress for $1,000 it was last years floor model.
It wasnt worn in at all.
Look around and you can find a floor model deal like that if you are patient and need a good mattress.
My quality of rest is much much better.

lol can't deal with these memory foam beds, give me a cheapo spring mattress from walmart or even a hardwood floor. foam always feels like sleeping on someone's uncomfortable couch. biggest regret spend of the past couple of years was a high end foam mattress... wasn't a tempurpedic tho.

I had their old $5K mattress from many years ago and when I went shopping this time I didn't even consider them. For the money, you can find very comparable or better options. But mattresses are such a personal preference thing, it's a crapshoot.
I just got an Aireloom that was in the mid-$2ks, and did so over the Dreamcloud because I couldn't try one out in person first. Wasn't about to deal with the whole delivery+test thing.

I’m coming up on 3+ years now and I’m just not sleeping as well on it. There isn’t really any noticeable physical difference tho. It’s not like there huge sagging spots or anything.
I rotate my mattress every month. But it’s a cal king, so not a perfect square. So you can only rotate one way

got a massage/adjustable base model like 4-5 years ago and it's been alright. I think I've only used the massage function like 4 times before lol
tbh I could fall asleep on a rock so I didn't notice much difference compared to our old pillowtop, but my wife says the tempur pedic is much better. There's probably much better options for the money nowadays though
lmao I was like lmao

Get a medium quality firm mattress and then put a high quality memory foam topper in it.

I’ve had a real Tempur-pedic brand mattress. It was nice. It takes some time to get used to it. Feels like sleeping on wet sand.
Zinus is exactly like Tempur-pedic and can be purchased on Amazon for a fraction of the price of a Tempur-pedic.
I currently have a Zinus hybrid mattress that’s half memory foam with inter
-springs. This one by far has been my favorite and most comfortable mattress.

Great responses. Thanx everyone!
I’ll be looking at it more seriously. I’ve had a memory foam mattress before and smashing on it kinda sucked. The drive was dampened by the fuking bed and it seemed as if I couldn’t bang her hard enough lol
That’s just one concern I got besides that if this don’t work, they wanna charge me 10% restocking fee if I buy something else from them. If I don’t, they charge 20% restock fee

Picked up a King Luxebreeze Soft for 5500 a month ago, it’s got about another month or two of break in left. First week was scary since it was pretty hard lol, it’s really working out now though. Never wake up sweating, very comfortable, no pain or pressure points. No adjustable base, it’s on 2 twin xl box springs.
If you can do it, why not? 10 year warranty is pretty solid.

I tried purple in store today I like it kinda but my chick don’t like it atall so it won’t be it.
I’m gonna also go try sleep number. I’ve heard horror stories about those too though (air bladder developing a leak and the motor then going off in the middle of the night)

i have tempurpedic split kings and it was expensive as **** but i wanted the best, yada yada yada.
Couple years later I bought adjustable bases from sams club and 2 sealy cocoon chills twin xls for my boys. They aren't on par with the tempurpedic but they are close enough and like 1/3 or less of the price.

The markup on mattresses is too insane for me to buy high end. A salesman accidentally left a cost sheet out at a furniture store I was at and the cost of a $3500 mattress was around $650. I understand making a profit but that’s crazy.
