Bitcoin Cash recently caught my attention as a sleeping giant.

Bitcoin (BTC) has been performing extremely well and I think is going to continue to rise above $100K in the next few months, probably even $120K.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has performed extremely poor over the past few months and looks like some extreme pressure has been building. BCH recently crossed below the .01 BCH/BTC threshold, which is just about an all time low and historically has not stayed below this point for long.

If you are into crypto speculating, Bitcoin Cash might be a trade to consider if you are looking for better short terms gains than Bitcoin (BTC).

It is starting to look like people are waking up to the fact Bitcoin isn’t actually all that great on a technical level when compared to competitors. Mark Cuban recently acknowledged that Bitcoin Cash is superior to Bitcoin in terms of actually being able to use it as a currency and pointed out the serious flaws with bitcoin. He essentially acknowledged Bitcoin basically only has name recognition at this point and people aren’t using it like a currency.

I don’t even like Cuban, but if he is waking up to it then it likely means other people are waking up to it as well.

This is true. But the thing is lots of people actually are. In terms of trading, crypto is a day traders wet dream. And even if you don't believe in crypto there is still lots of money to be made.

Even if you aren't a trader, it is a good idea to throw some $ at it given that we are in a very bullish market.

It is essentially what bitcoin was meant to be. A peer to peer electronic cash system as defined in the white paper written by Satoshi in 2009. Bitcoin (BTC) has been awful the past few years as actually digitical currency when the core development team was hijacked who then refused to raise the blocksize limit from 1MB.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) doesn't have that limit and can be used for everyday instant transactions with almost no fees (fractions of a penny).

It is currently number 4 by coinmarketcap. In all likelihood I think it will also probably go up the next few months, I just don't think you will be getting as much gains as something like Bitcoin Cash if you were to invest today.

Concerns About Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash promised several improvements over its predecessor.14 But it has yet to deliver on those promises.

The most important one is regarding block size. The average size of blocks mined on Bitcoin Cash’s blockchain is much smaller than those on Bitcoin’s blockchain.15 The smaller block size means that its main thesis of enabling more transactions through larger blocks is yet to be tested technically. Transaction fees for bitcoin have also dropped significantly, making it a viable competitor to bitcoin cash for daily use.

Other cryptocurrencies aspiring to similar ambitions of becoming a medium for daily transactions have added another wrinkle to Bitcoin Cash’s original ambitions. They have staked out projects and partnerships with organizations and governments, at home and abroad. what's happening here? bitcoin cash is more expensive per transaction, and bitcoin was already exceeding debit per transaction thus nullifying part of its use case....

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is FAR cheaper per transaction than Bitcoin (BTC). Not sure where you are getting this information.

I don't know what $50K means to you. Throw some money at it if you are willing to take a risk. It just looks like there is some really big pent up price surge that could happen IMO.

Certainly allowed to be skeptical. This is my first crypto thread and I have always given 401K/financial advice that hasn't benefited me in the past when people have asked. Just like to pass financial knowledge since I enjoy the subject is all.

Whybitcoincash.com if you want a 1 minute explanation for a TLDR version of why Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is superior to Bitcoin (BTC).

Bitcoin Cash is what Bitcoin was supposed to be before it was hijacked by the core devs who intentionally kept blocksize limit to 1MB in order to force people onto their third party payment companies.

Lol I totally disagree. BCH does more transactions, cheaper, and instantaneously compared to BTC. All without having to go through custodial services.

But I am not here to argue which is superior because bitcoin maxis never argue actual technical aspects comparing the two.

I am here to argue BCH looks like it has way more potential price upside than BTC.
