Novovax

Why does the misc recommend waiting for Novovax so much? I see it a lot in vax threads but not sure why that one is ok.

It's Novax not Novavax that misc recommends.

Two different products.

The one you're thinking of doesn't use mRNA tech.

It also doesn't use the spike protein as a delivery method or something. Uses lipids. I dont know.

Just to clarify, the spike protein is the antigen your body reacts to, the nanolipid particles are the delivery method for the mRNA. Novavax is a subunit protein vaccine. THe subunit is derived from the spike protein as well. Its an interesting technology they are using.

Are they still in trial or what? I think most of the hold outs would be more willing to take that one.

I only heard of this vaccine a few times, Big Pharma is powerful, did you see how much they charge for the Covid pill to give to people who test positive for Covid or get sick? $700 dollars for like 3 days worth of pills.

Have you notice they have no real Cures for anything? Its legalized drug dealing, they make meds to keep you okay when you take it aka temp relief, but when you stop taking them you go back, and then they give you meds that give you sides so you have to take meds for those sides.

Its all business if they had stuff that could cure you with one try, they would make NO money, its why I read some guy sai if they had a cure for Cancer the pill or therapy would cost 100 million dollars because how would people make money if they cured people? they would need to jack up the price.

This.

Seems that allot of Governments in the world are pushing the mRNA vaccine, either by design or coincidence.

To the smarter bros out there, why did they have to re-invent the wheel for this vaccine? why not use the tried and true tested method they used for the measles, mumps, chickenpox etc..

I would have thought that it would have been easier to apply the same principles and procedures that they already have in place and have been using for many years than completely redeveloping and implementing a new procedure, especially during a pandemic no less.

Novavax and all other traditional vaccines (inactivated, active etc) will NOT be allowed for travel because the major governments world wide have bought into Pfizer and moderna.

Novavax has incredibly less serious reactions than both MRNA and viral vector shots.

Lol melanotan was the ****. I got so dark, only time in my life women I barely knew would gush over me. I'm going to go look up if they found out it causes cancer after this post...

Novavax is the light. If you have to get one to make your life easier, it's the only one that isn't based on ginny pig tech. I have J&J and am fully aware it's more or less the same **** as the mRNA vaccines. It got worse press so I knew it was the lesser of two evils however.

So im looking this up and they have so few articles on news on it the recent news they posted on youtube and news is that the stock dropped because there was some hiccups in production but they are vague

From the info I gathered on the testing from what little info they had some guy said he had brain fog but it went away its two dose but he said he has strong antibodies and doesnt wear mask he said he goes out in public often

Apparently this vax has the chance of having legit long term immunity meaning you dont need boosters and when you do get a covid variant it will be just like the cold or more mild.

Why are they not talking much about this vaccine wouldn't this one be a positive choice for those who are scared to take the mRna one? since this uses the traditional method?

I don't know, the whole things fishy. For those that are against the mRNA vaccine you would think they would try to get this one up and running to try and get more people vaxxed, but nope. They just gaslight people into getting the mRNA vaxx which is the one people have issues with.

how is this different from Astra and J&J? -- they use DNA material? and novavax strictly uses protein only?

https://www.nebraskamed.com/COVID/mo...-vaccine-works

The Novavax vaccine uses a telltale piece of the coronavirus: the notorious spike protein. All alone, the spike protein is harmlessand can't cause COVID-19. When your immune system encounters the lonely spike protein, it produces antibodies against it. This gives you protection against future COVID-19 infection.

"Unlike mRNA vaccines, the spike protein is already premade in the Novavax vaccine. It's a shortcut," explains Dr. Florescu. "All the synthesis happens outside the body and we just give the end product: the spike protein."

Like other COVID-19 vaccines, Novavax does not cause COVID-19 infection. It can't get you sick. This vaccine doesn't contain either live or inactivated virus.

How did they get the spike protein?

The Novavax method uses moth cells to make spike proteins:

Researchers select the desired genes that create certain SARS-CoV-2 antigens (spike protein).
Researchers put the genes into a baculovirus, an insect virus.
The baculovirus infects moth cells and replicates inside them.
These moth cells create lots of spike proteins.
Researchers extract and purify the spike proteins.

"The Novavax vaccine has no genetic material, only proteins," says Dr. Florescu. "The vaccine technology is more traditional, and it's very similar to a protein-based influenza vaccine."

Influenza vaccines have also used this moth cell factory method.

It sounds promising since most people who dont want to take this mRna vaccine are not anti vaxxers and would be more comfortable taking something tried and true method like this novavax instead of an experimental one.

they are all experimental my friend

regardless of its conventional design, it has not been tested like regular vaccines.
