I went from Adidas to Brooks Launch 8 which were solid. Thought I was gonna stick w/ Brooks, then I went Hoka. Hoka Rincon 2 were awesome.
Just got the Rincon 3's below. They are great for me. Probably not going to leave Hoka as my daily trainer for a while. Might check out the Pegasus, but that's about it.

Hoka mach 4
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

I wore Brooks for running. Before I started buying them I'd always get terrible shin splints no matter how much I stretched beforehand. Once I got Brooks I didn't get them anymore.

Saucony makes the nicest foam.
I also like the racing shoes from New Balance and Reebok, though the foam wears out super fast in these.
Brooks were my favourite before the new foams came out in the past few years.

pegasus 35/36 are the GOAT (37 too chunky)
zero need to get any more fancy than that, professional athletes wear them

Currently running in these
They are pretty good, but I have custom built inserts I wear with them. I don't wear them with nike free, but they are necessary with these for some reason. It feels like complete inward arch collapse.

I've always worn Saucony because they fit my foot best. Wide toe box.

I usually buy Nike because my feet are long and medium/narrow and Nikes fit snug.
Just got a pair of Pegasus 38s but haven't ran in them yet, previously had Pegasus 36s that were great and some cheapo Nike Flex

Always, bearfoot minimalist shoes.

Great for both running and martial arts.
