putins take on capitalism

"Everyone says that the existing model of capitalism, which the basis of social structure in the overwhelming majority of countries, has run its course," the head of state said, speaking on Thursday at a meeting of the Valdai International Club.

According to him, this model can no longer offer a way out of the "snarl of increasingly tangled contradictions."

"Everywhere, even in the richest countries and regions, the uneven distribution of material wealth leads to aggravating inequality," the head of state added.

and they said the USSR was no more... slimy russian govt, i dont trust those fuks.

Global capitalism is a scam.

Capitalism only works on a national and local level.

Globalism is evil.

capitalisms creates a struggle for leadership... thats what its all about... the people who own all the money want to keep it that way so they can lead the world.....they believe they know the truth and will anything to run the world...thats why we have capitalisms... so the rich can lead the way... and cause most people think they will get rich which lets be honest is rare...
capitalisms ensures that a group of people who have the majority of the money will run the world forever...
it has nothing to do with freedom... it just the illusion of freedom...
if the world was communistic than... running the world would be impossible...
rich people want to stay rich and in control of the world... thats why we have capitalisms...

once machine replace humans... they will kill off the majority of the useless eater of the planet
about 95% us will be killed... sounds hard to believe... but to them... we are a waste of resources better wake up before its late...
if the top 10% have 90% of the wealth...
how do u plan to beeat them?
money is net of wealth... and they have most of the money
for American the American dream is just that
a ****ing dream...

Capitalism is not and has never been the problem.

Cronyism is and will always be the problem in human hierarchies.

When the government intervenes in a free market in the name of “equality” by imposing an ever growing number of regulations that affect small and medium scale businesses it creates monopolies paid for by big corporations through lobbying.

Mostly agree. I don't recall too much intervention being based on "equality".

Not all needs are best served by a private market-based solution, but many are. Government should protect the common good and try to maintain fair play, not create an environment that reduces competition.

The real issue, in my opinion, is that 95% of people don't understand much about economics.

Capitalism isn't even a word economists use. To me, it's as dumb sounding as somebody saying air is bad, bad climate like foaming at the mouth complaining about capitalism when it's such an incredibly vague term.

The US doesn't even remotely have unchecked capitalism or anything like it. We have insane amounts of regulations in place to check capitalism. We don't even have capitalism, we have a hybrid model.

Additionally, billionaires having money doesn't actually hurt others. People envision wealth as a pie, if some ******* has 20 slides and everyone else gets 1 slice, that's unfair. That's not how it works, it's more like creating new pies. Everyone in a room has one slice. Some inventor or creator creates something and gets rich, he or she actually ADDED pies to the room, he didn't take from others, it's not like they get divided. In fact, often times, the creator who got rich actually improved the lives of everyone in the room by adding more pies to the room.

Most everything we enjoy in life and everything that makes our lives more comfortable was brought to us by capitalism. Businesses competing for your dollars are forced to be innovative and reduce costs, which means better products, more available to the public. That's why everything constantly gets better.

We all live in safe homes, with ultra fast internet, big TVs, very good entertainment, super computers in our pockets, extremely safe and advanced cars due to this capitalism people comment on. It's often driven by jealousy and a lack of understanding of macro economics.

edit: Had to edit my post and remove all the quotes, because apparently this website sometimes can't handle quotation marks lol. It wouldn't let me post it.

Not sure about thee third world, but in developed countries, if you're THAT poor that it's visible or causes you problems, money alone will not solve your problem.

It's like being sick and there not being a cure to alleviate the disease.

Russia is slimy as fuk alright but he is right. But capitalism is in the state it is because of the major corps outsourcing everything to asia for pennies and then keeping all the profits, gov allowing pharma to financially explot the people (here in the USa at least. but now, the same people who have been saying this are telling you to "Get the jab [by the same people who have been financially raping everyone for decades for profit, but now they REALLY care about us this time!]) inflation (but also not using gold anymore), interest rates ( which are seemingly used politically because they barely moved under one potus, but moved all the time under the next one), and many many othr reasons. Sad to say that capitalism is a risky model, but not nearly so much as fukking socialism.

However, you'd be a fool to think that countries like russia, china and even the USA would ever fully move away from a capitalistic society. Its waaaaayyyyyyyyy too profitable for that. They might SAY they are but it would be total BS

Winrar.

Everyone knows late stage and large scale capitalism is as bad as late stage communism.

Late stage capitalism isn't even capitalism. It's an oligarchy in free market's clothing.

Let’s see
-power concentrated in the hands of a few privileged insiders
-policies developed based on influence rather than the public good
-elections won and lost based on who has the most resources, rather than merit
-attempts to delegitimise the outcomes of elections by allegations of interference
-resources concentrated in the hands of the social and political elite

Which system am I talking about? Communism or capitalism?

This.

Capitalism works fantastic as long as the free market remains competitive. Capitalism only fails when you have monopolies.
When you get a monopoly through freedom, the government would have to step in and break them up to re-establish competition. That's one of the few times intervention is warranted.
What we have now is the government ensuring de-facto monopolies get stronger. While small medium sized business get crushed.

What Putin means is due to overpopulation, capitalism has run its course and cannot contain and sustain the animalistic trash breeding and breeding and producing bad apples in society by the millions and millions.

Once again everyone dances around the same fuking core issue without straight up saying what it is

Theres too many fuking people breeding on the planet. Say it like that. thats the only and main problem plaguing the earth and society.

Overpopulation is the root of all problems and until we realize that its only gonna get worse.

I would rather lose our freedom to over-breed (child licenses based on income) than to lose our freedom overall due to being forced into the low tier, low rung lifestyle of communist rats because poor people cant keep their dick in their pants.
