old MMA heads, remember the story of the pro fighter got ko'd by non fighter?

From the early days


Trying to look it up but don't remember the details except it was a grudge match over someone cheating with the other guys wife.


Non fighter threw wild overhand and knocked the fighter out.

Yeah I remember this, his name was MMA fighter Benji Radach dude got slept by an average joe it was pretty embarrassing because Benji kept boasting how he would destroy the guy easy they just got the guy out of the audience as a last minute replacement making it even more humiliating.

Radach was able to have the video taken down from several outlets and then someone saved up the clip and reposted it again years later.

I think the fight happened in 2003, Radach was a hot prospect he trained with I think Team Quest at the time he only had one loss and like 16 fights and was highly touted.

UFC vet Benji Radach (15-1) challenges Danny Lafever (0-0) allegedly over an ex-girlfriend who Lafever was dating at the time.

Lafever wins by 55 second KO in one of the wildest upsets in MMA history, then retires at 1-0.
