I had a coworker who was 25 (maybe even a year or two younger, I don't remember) who got with some 30+ year old sloot with two kids. Always hearing him talk about "the boys" and shyt...it wasn't long at all before he ended up moving in with her too. It's baffling to me.

The only two cases where I could see it being justifiable - either the woman is fuking loaded or the man has as many or more kids than her (ie the Brady Bunch), and I'm on the fence about the second one.

Have three female friends who got knocked up young and had a kid, then managed to hook in a guy after the fact and also have kids with them as well. I always wonder if the guy cares about the kid that isn't his less than the others. These guys even marry them. They must give them off the charts sex to hook them somehow. All the women are damned hot, so I'm assuming that's part of the equation.

Basically you're resigning yourself to responsibilities of being a parent and all the financial obligations when the kid isn't even yours. Makes zero sense to me.

To me, it's no different than adopting an orphan. You're either open to it or you're not. Children do better in a two parent household, that's just a fact. The children didn't choose to be in that situation, they're blameless. The main issue is the single mother. Is she in that situation because of foolish choices or out of control personality that no man wants anything to do with? Or is she single because her husband died or another situation she had absolutely no control over or deserved.

I rarely agree with OP but on this I do in many respects. Firs tlet me say if you take care of a child that isn't yours you are a good person, in a way same as adopting. However, why date a woman with that baggage and extra hassles in the first place? Seems like something a guy with limited options would do. Unless the woman is a 10/10 making a mil a year and has other real assets she is bringing to the table to balance the hassle, I don't get why you'd want to do that. You get one life.
