Do you think most poor people are just down on luck? Or that most of them are just lazy or made bad decisions in their teens/twenties?
Know a guy that used to have $200k+ income, and that was pre-2000 era, might've been the 80's actually, and a messy divorce caused his ex to max out his corporate card, which he couldn't pay off so he not only got fired but he had lots of debt (including from alimony/child-support), and he was kicked out of the entire industry that he was in. He has been poor ever since, srs. I'd say that's more along the lines of "down on luck", mixed with a little "bad decisions marrying this sloot."

Do they live the way they do because they are poor, or are they poor because of the way they live? It's the latter 9/10.

I spent my entire working life around low income people so I can speak on this issue better than most. From my experience I can conclude low income Americans are LAZY and STUPID. They are NOT down on their luck. They constantly make poor decisions, lay out of work for the slightest ill, you can almost never get them to come in on the weekends, or any day they have off even when they're only working 25 - 30 hours per week. And they all vote Democrat. They're goddamn parasites

well...to an extent you're right. But I'd say it's the lazy poor. Hard working lower middle class have it rough. Lazy entitled people are creating a socialist political landscape that hurts the wealthy and especially hard working middle/lower class.

People ruin everything
Lol at not hating the rich and the poor. People in general are parasites and a drain in society.
The world would be much better off with some population control.
Seriously scale back the entire planet to 1 billion tops and we’d be just fine as a species

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I like to judge everyone individually but I've found that wealthier people are generally more pleasant.

I agree overall. Especially Americans who were born with citizenship. I hate how that’s taken for granted.
First gen immigrant, who arrived as a child, and earned residency followed by citizenship here along with my immediate family. Not one of us is lazy, or barely making ends meet. We appreciate (more so my parents who arrived older at mid 20’s) the opportunities here compared to Mexico.
I despise American citizens who were born with it and fail. Anyone who enjoys claiming victim hood when they were born with one of the best gifts in the world.
We avoid ghetto, poor areas in general because of how the majority of them act. Always angry, and willing to escalate to violence over minor issues because they have nothing going for them.
Sure there are edge cases that may honestly affect 100’s of thousands, but that still leaves the vast majority of them as failing due to their own choices.
