Dude actually bought dodge in February, if he had hold then, and sold at the top, he would legit be a millionaire now. He didn't, he sold long before.

Why do ppl feel the necessity to lie about profits man, but anyway, dude is trolling all the time, so there's that.

Please tell me what part of looking at quid made you throw your life savings of 200 Biden bucks into the pool. Highlight which part of their whitepaper really sold you on the project.

So instead of admitting that you trashed the wrong coin, you’re moving the goal post to why I chose to put money into it.

Bottom line is that I’m way up, and the wave is just starting. Learn to admit when you **** up, it’s a sign of maturity.

I've got roughly 700 in since late April that's currently worth over 25K. My friends who don't follow crypto at all are astounded why I won't sell it. It spikes by THOUSANDS every few months. Bought in another 2500 a few months later that's worth about 8K and still think it's gonna show returns like my initial investment.

Coming in to the misc to argue against that being a good plan is just pure cringe and jealousy for people that are going to get solid returns on this.

What do you mean moving the goal post? This is literally bottom of the barrel basic investing principles; being able to articulate why you bought something.

Lol at being way up. Tell me you're poor without telling me you're poor.

That's gambling, not investing.

You don't understand what exactly it is that you're buying, let alone having any way of assigning a realistic value to it.

You're winning, yes, at gambling. Good on you, but let's not pretend it's because you did solid research on the actual merits of the company and have any kind of idea on what the entity should actually fetch, should it go private and be sold to a larger company.

There is certainly money to be made in crypto right now...people get rich at casinos every single day.

I threw $2500 at it in the last run up. It's worth about $10k now. I honestly don't see it going much higher b/c of total coins -- gives it a massive market cap for no real reason lulz. Either way, still probably going to just keep hanging on to them and see what happens.

It's crazy bc I also do well in the stock market too(not with nearly the gains but up over 50% of money invested). I have done a lot of research into both and they have both paid off. To claim one system of supply and demand is investing and another system of supply and demand is gambling just doesn't ring true.

I've notices there are 3 schools of thought on it. People that invested smart and made money, people that didn't invest smart and lost money, and people who sat on the sidelines watching people make money and get upset about it.

Which one are you?

It's pure cope that you think you made money on SHIB because of your investing prowess. You entered the pyramid and got lucky there were buyers behind you.

I'm okay with agreeing that this whole thing is built upon the foundations of idiocy. I'm okay with agreeing there's folks buying in after I did, enabling me to golden parachute at some point later, whether it's weeks or years from now.

It's a gamble. A long term gamble where every second of every day I can cash in my unrealized losses or unrealized gains. That's what makes it better than a casino. Casino is inserting cash and you win or lose, usually house has favor. In crypto (especially due to being able to trade 24/7), every second of every day is an opportunity to cash in your deposit that might've been submitted years ago. Unlike a casino where the money goes into the game and the results are finalized within seconds. Everything is realized immediately in a casino gamble.

I don't feel immoral for golden parachuting off of this, because it's built off of greed, the profits I accrue (if any) are from those who were also greedy. It would be different if there was something to believe in, like if the crypto mechanisms were instilled somehow to donate to good causes. Or to improve the environment in some way.

I would feel immoral for golden parachuting after telling everyone "You will make money off of this if you buy it." I don't, I do talk about it though, and show my profits, and usually add something like "not financial advice, could dip to $0 any moment."
