New Resident Evil movie coming November 24th?

Had no clue, stumbled across the trailer on Youtube.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City.




If nothing else, it looks like they are actually following the story of RE1/RE2. This looks way better than the original RE movies which got absolutely absurd with super power Alice and Wesker. I actually thought RE: Apocalypse was the best/closest to video game adaptation.

Main knock I'll give it is the forced diversity with a minority Leon and Jill.

Could this finally be a video game adaptation to a movie that does justice????? Probably not, but hell, I'll watch this one for sure.

I feel like they mashed up 2-3 games into a movie which does not bode well

Claire was never at the Spencer mansion.. yikes



Idk why they NEVER just follow the storyline of the games; does Hollywoke not understand that a lot of games have far better plots and characters than most movies?

I'm really looking forward to this movie and I'm going to watch it the day it comes out. It looks like it's going to be better than the original Resident Evil movies and it looks like it's going to be a lot closer to the video game storyline.

I seen an interview with the director and he said something about combining the games of Resident Evil 1 and 2 into this movie. I don't think Claire is at the Spencer mansion in this movie. It looks like it's just the S.T.A.R.S. team at the mansion.

I'm a pretty big Resident Evil fan, played all the games up to RE 6, but I honestly haven't watched any of the movies. For some reason they don't appeal to me, they look kinda cheesy. It's weird because I love zombie movies and RE, just can't get into it.

Yeah that's probably true. Unfortunately I don't really play video games much anymore. Village does look interesting, got a vampire/werewolf feel to it.
