New Z06 STRONG Marketing (srs)

The guy who does the interiors is so overqualified, it's how you know they are all in on this.

The noise @ 11:40 is all I need to hear to convince me. I would buy one immediately if I could.

Mirin the engineering but I can't help but see a baby NSX or poverty McLaren in the design. The c6 was the last shape that oozed masculinity, raw power & brute force. I know it's all about aerodynamics and futuristic designs but just look at this monster of a vehicle.

Two years ago I never stopped hearing the Vette was old school rear wheel drive pushrod car that would never compete with the elites
Two years later the Vette's are mid engine, flat plane crank and now a lot of people claim the car has lost its "spirit" and its lost its way

Im convinced at this point that people HATE the car no matter what it does. The fact that an American mass produced Vette puts up near supercar numbers at 90-120k really chaps peoples hides. Now a Vette will easily be on par with the most elite cars that cost 4-5x and people find something to complain about.

Both are amazing cars, just very different obviously. I would venture a guess that when they come out with an official nurburgring lap time with the c8z that it absolutely smokes the c7z. Only 20 hp more but there are so many improvements to the car that I don't think the power alone will matter so much. Plus heat soak from the supercharger is no longer an issue, and I'm assuming they addressed the other overheating issues that plagued the c7z while they were at it.
