Imagine being an alien species and you’re interested in seeing what people do in all these buildings
So you pick a building and go into it. It happens to be a gym and the first thing you see is humans picking up heavy items and putting them back down right in the same spot and leaving
Imagine the mind f*ck

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

You'd see a bunch of people exerting themselves and putting themselves in pain for no apparent reason

No idea why people don't exercise.
No idea why people don't exercise.
If you look at guys like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Donald Trump etc none of them really exercise or look like they do
There's no way those guys are even benching 200 lbs

I compare the way I feel when I don’t work out as one of those airplanes with the elastic band after it unwinds . When I work out I get that tight feeling , and even find it’s very mentally uplifting .
When I was in my late 30’s , I almost ran out of stamina when I couldn’t get my belt attached after crossing some utilities on a pole while spurring .
Was close to a near death experience, so I went back to the gym and found resistance training was very beneficial .
Your never too old to lift , your too old to not lift

Is working out more wear and tear on the body? There has got to be a limit on how hard one should push their body.
Is a 1990 Chevy with 100,000 miles gonna be better today or a 1990 Chevy with 300,000 miles provided maintenance is equal on both
Srs
