Nothing is going to happen, Cole Beasley was very vocal against the vaccine and nothing happened lol.

He'll get fined for not wearing a mask during his post interviews or on the sidelines... Which is weird since the NFL was aware he wasn't vaccinated to begin with so they were aware lol

Yeah but he's been following protocols put in place. So has Carson Wentz and he's a quarterback too. Literally wears a mask until he runs on the field.

Problem with Rogers is that he lied and the team knew about it and during things like team events, meetings, interviews he's been unmasked the whole time which is a violation. He just didn't want to do that stuff so avoided the situation. He even attended large scale events which he wasn't supposed to do either.

Will be interesting to see what the NFL does because it would be easy for them to say Jordan Love can't play either this weekend due to close contact.

If he was unvaxxed, that's fine it's his choice. The issue is that he blatantly lied and now is trying to say because he was allergic he had to, which is BS.

Rodgers didn't lie, the nfl and the packers have known he's unvaccinated the entire time.

He only mislead the media who don't deserve the truth anyway

I’m glad he said something about how stupid the protocols are. Literally tested every morning while vaccinated players get tested every 2 weeks when they can spread it too. He is safer to be around than any of them because he’s tested every morning. What’s the point of a mask if he’s tested every 24 hours, dumb rules that make no sense.

The rules weren't about safety or science, they were about trying to shame and annoy you into taking the vaccine

Exactly. Allow all these huge companies like Amazon to stay open and shut down local business so the rich get richer. Create rules that shame people not willing to blindly “follow the science” that’s changed a hundred times. I understand as we learn more about something they should change things, but acting like they know everything and you should just listen has been beyond frustrating.

From reporters, it sounds like he applied for exemption status given his "other treatment" and they didn't approve it. So he has been following the procotol for unvaccinated players (more frequent testing, etc.).

So now that he's gotten COVID... and we know that natural antibodies provider multiple-times greater protection than the vaccine... will he still need to test daily and wear a mask?

All about "following the science..."

Because he said it's stupid according to him. The problem is his employer (and actually his employers employer) mandated it, just like any other workplace. Just because he's who he is doesn't mean he should get a free pass. As much as the rules are stupid, you don't get to ignore them because you're a superstar and think you're above it.

Kind of like a star surgeon at a hospital or the CEO saying they weren't going to get vaxxed because they don't agree with it. But everyone else has to or they get fired.

If Love plays okays today it could be over for Rogers. He’s already been skating on super thin ice for being a diva - and he can kiss hosting Jeopardy goodbye now too.

There is a 0% chance Rodgers is cut by the Packers.

Lmao is this a joke. Aaron Rodgers is the reigning mvp and the packers have a great record.

They aren't dropping him over something like this, especially because I guarantee many in that building agree with him

The packers have themselves to blame, they could have made Rodgers comply but they didn't.

It will not be over for Rodgers until his arm is done or he decides he’s done. You think the packers would rather have Love if he plays “okay” against the trash chiefs defense instead of a top 3 QB in the league. Who is likely standing up for other players who are afraid to share their opinion because they aren’t superstars. Terrible take

Standing up - fcking lmao. He lied about it, hid it, and didn’t follow protocol cause it would have raised questions. He got caught probably cause of his Halloween party. He literally tried to deflect to other players when asked if he was vaccinated.

If his league future wasn’t somewhat in question already - I agree this is nothing. We will see, Rogers certainly thought drafting Love was a direct sign of disrespect/seeking to monkey branch his replacement.

He followed protocol besides the masks during interviews and on the sidelines.. that's merely a fine, nothing more. Considering there is precedent for this exact scenario due to others this season and last getting fined for the exact same thing

He lied about it. He isn’t some hero - he just thinks he’s smarter than everyone else in the room always.
