Standard military issue.
Also have some chippewas though and they're comfy as phuk. Used them as motorcycle riding boots mainly.
I want to get some red wings eventually.

Company I worked for gave us new vouchers every year, so it was assumed that was how long they would last.

Caterpillar's cookie cutters
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I recently replaced my boots a few months ago, went with the same exact model. My first pair lasted me 7 years, wore them a couple days a week in rough conditions. The soles finally fell off, but had to replace the laces a couple years in. Otherwise I love them. Keen Detroits:

Dont mention work boots, it offends Biden supporters.

Feet are too wide for Redwings and I've tried a ton of other types of casual boot. Always end up back at Timberland.
Usually keep two pairs around. One high ankle that is waterproof and a bit more rugged. Another that's lower on the ankle and a little less of a "work boot" look.
I don't work a trade or anything so don't need a heavy duty boot... just something that is stable, comfortable, and good.with water/snow.
Couple pairs of dress boots too, but don't that's what OP was referring to.
