Is it ideal to get married over just remaining single the rest of your life?

I’ve read plenty of stories about men getting the bitter end of the stick in a marriage. However, do these divorce stories involve a wife who holds a high body count, enables toxicity and is overall ‘woke’? Or do good girls divorce at the same rate?

I would like some Christian based answers where a guy/girl married a Christian spouse too.

Other answers are cool too.

Its about as easy to figure out as when you play black jack. You can increase your chances of winning by playing smart. But there is no sure win.

Stories of reformed whores who are the best, or women who stay loyal then sloot it up 20 years in. It truly is a gamble. My thoughts are: marry someone who can be a best friend, not a dime piece thats a chore to please.

Nobody goes down after marriage

The most depressed demographic in the US are single, childless women who make between $50,000-$100,000 a year.

Single childless women are more depressed than single, childless men. And I think it’s due to men being more able to divert their interests towards hobbies whereas women are a one trick pony. Men are interested in things, while women are interested in people. So single men can cruise through life with video games, building things, playing instruments, riding motorcycles, etc. So single, childless older women who don’t have a satisfying social circle are fukked.

Men are better at being alone than women.

As far as marriage is concerned, I’ll admit I do feel a bit of societal pressure to go the whole marriage/kids route. And I could have with my last two ex gf’s who wanted me to marry them but I just wasn’t ready for it and not even sure I wanted that. One is now a single mother with a child out of wedlock. The other married a beta male orbiter who was in her friend zone for 16 years and is morbidly obese and looks 70 while he’s really 35.

Marriage only makes sense if you’re gonna have kids and even then it’s still risky as fuk. You have to have a lot of things going for you to keep a woman attracted to you after the honeymoon phase. Otherwise you just become a book that she just finished the final chapter to and there’s nothing left that she feels the need to cling to.

Most divorces are about these things, in this order.
-cheating
-money issues
-addiction

If you are rich it's more likely to fail, people who spend more on weddings are more likely to divorce

I second the advice that you should marry a chick that is like your best friend

Both sides can get the bitter end of the stick at the same time, it's foolish to marry someone without mutual love due to social pressures or fear of being alone

Also says in the good book that God is love, and anyone who knows love knows God.

Loving marriages will last, maybe that's why religious people are less likely to divorce.

If you know God then you understand what love is.

Oh I totally get you. People don’t stay attracted forever. Especially once you look at the Coolidge effect. It basically evidences that male rats take longer to reach orgasm with the same female. I can imagine that it’s the same for women. After both parties get used to that initial attraction, the enjoyment is gone. Especially for women, who go for emotions.

Thing is, I don’t want to wait until I’m 35 and then realise marriage would have been an appropriate decision and then live a life of regret.

So, I greatly reduce the risk of divorce if the don’t have those vices?

I seriously want to marry someone who is basically my girl best friend.

I don’t think being rich by itself creates a higher likelihood of failure. It’s just that people who spend a lot of weddings aren’t getting married for the right reasons. Maybe just to show off.

Marry someone who will wipe your ass when you're 60.

Marry someone who could bare being in the bathroom with you while you take a dump.

Marry someone who will listen to, and obey you 9 out of 10 times.

Marry someone who doesn't care about an expensive ring or a lavish wedding ceremony.

Marry someone who understands their role.

All of those should go the same for you too.

So many pathetic idiots get married for pathetic idiotic reasons. Some sheltered sloots marry just to get out of the house so they can escape the grips of their parents. Some sloots have false ideas and fantasies from watching too much hollywood. Some *******s get married just to lock down vag. There are pathetic beta males out there who marry for the same idiotic reasons as sloots. Those betas are worse than the sloots. They're more common than you think. The stay at home dad, or the bitch made beta whose wife does everything. Ever seen those man-chicks who have a baby strapped to their chests out in public? Sometimes bottle feeding? One of the few types of men I immediately thing "burn it with fire" when I lay eyes on them.

Yeah I think putting material things above relationships of any kind can cause problems, but maybe not everyone is so materialistic.

On the other end, not earning enough to support yourself, your wife, and your kids can be a problem.

Would find a woman who can cook, I honestly believe that food and cooking are an important part of relationships.

There are some super rich New England types in my line of work and some claim that the husbands cheat so much because the wives can't cook.

It's a crapshoot and society is not really geared to help people stay together.

Amazing how our Grandparents managed to stay together as theiir vows instructed, sickness, health, in good times and bad, through poverty and wealth.
