i hate those hand dryers. all of the Boomers, Tyrones, and Juans use them. they are loud as f**k all they do is blow germs and corona around the gym bathroom while i'm trying to wash my hands at the sink in peace after a workout. i then go use a paper towel to dry my hands like a civilized human being. these dryers are more than useless - they are a scourge!

Study Finds Air Hand Dryers Can Spread More Germs Than Paper Towels

Several studies have found that air hand dryers can blow bacteria back onto your hands and spread germs more than paper towels.

A new study indicates that using air hand dryers to dry your hands may spread germs more than paper towels.

Previous studies have also found that air hand dryers can blow bacteria from bathroom air back onto your hands.

Experts say that proper handwashing is still the most important action we can take to prevent transmitting COVID-19.

That thing makes me lol so hard. "Let's take all the downsides of an air dryer, fix none, and now all the water accumulates in a puddle for your fingertips to dip into."

Hey I admit that I don't get it.

- loud
- moves the trash
- doesn't actually clean up anything

I used to have to sweep out nursery aisles with a push broom. At my last job the manager used leaf blowers. The aisles look clear, but all the dirt and trash is just relocated and then you still have to use a broom/shovel to clean it up, but in a different location.

The gym I used to go to stopped supplying paper towels because they were 'going green' so those blowers were the only option lmao.
