Also, add the increase in performance of the new chips and I honestly don't see why we need "many" to accomplish a task.

Quick example from my shop: we had a data modeling process that took 5 days to run on a hadoop cluster with 5 nodes (in plain english 6 or 7 servers depending on config) - now the same load is being run on 3 after we moved it to aws... again, as performance increase I don't see why we will need more servers.
Even with the increases in efficiency (better CPU architecture/process node technology) and migration from local servers to the public cloud/datacenters, the overall demand for processing power continues to rise

Got back in $TSLA at $1025 hoping it makes a push towards $1100 tomorrow. I don't see it dropping below $1k this month, but who knows.

Fun day.

all of them beat on eps / revenue and matched or slightly raised guidance

so there is only one conclusion

they were all juiced going into earnings

some of them will be bought up tmmrw or next week at discount question is which one.

can CNBC get that UPST retard that didn't know what it even did back on tmmrw.

that guy was probably selling before he appeared on CNBC.

Hoping so, wonder how the Rivian IPO will affect it. It was one of the worst sells offs for the stock since 2018, so yes, I bought the dip. IV is high, anything is possible, could go either way, but I would bet on it staying above 1000...for now. I think we could come lower, but not this month.

Had nothing to do with the stock selling. It was a gamma squeeze that ran out of fuel. Nothing goes up 40% in 2 weeks and stays there, it was pretty obvious.

Everything will be ok, never let emotions play into your trades, the market does not care what you or I want.

there doesn't need to be devastating news.... it's at $1020....

elon musk could fart and TSLA could drop below $1,000 on that.

idk how you guys can sit and watch a stock just go -$140 in a day and then make definitive statements like "It won't drop another $25"

Anyways, PYPL looks discounted here for a buy and hold.

Amazon backed IPO Electric Vehicle manufacturer company "Rivian" ($RIVN) goes public this AM. Amazon has a 20% stake in the company. Looks like trucky/SUV type cars. They've already got over 55,000 cars pre-ordered. They already manufactured and sold ~150 cars. They're going public today at $78/share.

Who's going in with me?

If it wasn't for Amazon backing it I wouldn't buy-in.

Yeah Rivian is going for the affluent off-road truck/SUV market, and their vehicles are being well received right now by reviewers
