Kindness is only a virtue if it's a choice, if you have to be kind to ensure your survival, it's not a virtue.

But it's better to be kind to other people, trust me that most people will remember something that you did for them.

yea kindness and temperance is a good strategy for success and winning over people/obtaining power. But in a sense, it's not really genuine assuming genuine kindness exists in the first place since you can keep arguing some alternative motive

The wealth gap is growing, and we are going through an economic crisis equivalent to the Great Depression.

It's natural for our brains to seek out the security of food and shelter, and money tricks your mind into thinking that getting rich will solve your instinctual survival problems.

That's because we were rounded up off our Indigenous lands and seperated from balance with nature, forcing us to chase money in order to survive, unless you are like Hopi, Appalachian hill people, some nomadic tribe, or basically any sort of communal economy like that.

The Lord will provide for what you need if you put your faith in Him, if you give what you don't need then you will reap rewards in eternity, and it will make you a happy person.

There's way too many 'nice guys' soy boys etc. If you are genuinely nice most people can't tell the difference between you and a 'nice guy'. Unless you look like chad, that over rules.
Be nice to your close friends though, they should know what type of person you actually are and appreciate it. That and they're probably nice to you

Does anyone need to be kind to ensure survival though? You can be neutral and survive just fine. Shoot, lots of people are downright mean and survive just fine.
