just finished Altered Carbon season 1...

late to the party I know but fuaaaark what an amazing watch

season 2 seems to get trashed though

You’re going to be SOOOOO disappointed in season two.

The first season was really good imo and season two was unwatchable 80% of the time.

Season 2 had a lot of potential, just Mackie just isn't a very good actor. Show went a bit woke in season 2 which didn't help things. The Poe character is probably the highlight of the entire second season.

The Resleeved anime that came out last year I didn't think was too bad.

If you like reading sci-fi the bookAltered Carbonis excellent. I'd give S1 7/10 and the book 9.5/10 srs. Plus it's a trilogy and unlike the TV show doesn't drop off significantly, would give the books 9/10 overall.

Season 1 was amazing. Season 2 utterly woke. Its like the acting and writing fell off completely.
