I got it for free when Origin had that promo for 2042 going on or whatever. I never bothered to buy that one either because they decided to censor history by not calling the Germans nazis and added women with robot arms and chit. Played it for about an hour and checked out. BF4 and BF1 will be my games for another 2-3 years I guess.

Gotta catch up with ME:LE anyway.

Yeah, it's not the same. They turned BF into Warzone. They went full retard betraying the main BF fanbase to make the game more attractive to CoD players, and they didn't even try to hide it.

Have you guys seen the Portal gameplay?

It's like playing the older games but with a lot less issues so you could potentially just play BF3 maps the whole time if you wanted to and not have to deal with the new game or game modes.

I think there's popular maps from almost all previous BF's on there and the game play changes so it feels exactly like those games did just without things people didn't like and newer graphics.

That alone makes the game a good buy.

BF is also nothing like COD except for a couple of game modes it doesn't even come close. You can choose to just not play the bad game modes and stick to rush and conquest and switch between 4-5 different games essentially.

I think they did a really good job of it so far.

What are you talking about?

Depending on what BF game you're playing in portal the mechanics change. You run and jump differently, the recoil is different and almost everything matches the game you're playing. So on BF3 maps you don't jump around as much as the newer 2042 maps, on bad company maps you can't go prone.

If you played those older games and actually enjoyed them then you'll love portal since it's a proper remaster of older games and besides some annoying aspects (suppression in BF3) it plays the exact same but looks way better and runs smoother.

BF and COD have both tried copying the best parts of the others game, but if you think BF plays like COD/Warzone then I don't know what to say. If anything COD became more like BF with bullet speed/drop and vehicles. Although BF's vehicles are arguably better because there are more of them and you can shoot out of them like tanks and attack helicopters.

Warzone is a bad copy of a BR mode with a BF style map with vehicles and has far too many bugs and OP weapons and issues. BF 2042 could turn out to have the same issues but it doesn't look like it. Do you think there will be an equivalent issue as the non stop OP weapons that take forever to fix because they're trying to sell skins like the DMR? Maybe but I highly doubt it.
