Bough a lemon (lincoln aviator). They’re buying it back - should I expect more?
Bought a Lincoln aviator and within 1000 miles and couple weeks in, the engine seized and they had to tow to dealership. Long story short, they’re buying it back and paying off the loan including tax, title& licensing and I’m gonna end up loosing maybe $800 or $900 overall. Considering I drove that vehicle 1000 miles and their loaner for about a month, it’s not that bad.
Is there anything else I could possible ask them for? The troubles it caused me and full day lost trying to get the vehicle diagnosed and towed and chit?

Pretty sure lemon laws are a by the book thing, I don't know that there's room to "squeeze" them.

I had an ongoing fight with Land Rover with my lemon'd Velar. Took about a year and they offered to settle two weeks before our court date and we ended up getting right around what we paid for it if not a thousand more. Take what theyre offering you and run.

Move on, move forward, and consider yourself lucky it happened this early and not a bit later when you would have been on the hook.
I wouldn’t be able to write the check fast enough if it only cost me $1000 to get out of a vehicle that would end up unreliable later.

Thanks y’all. By the book, they’re supposed to charge me for the usage based on my state laws but they waived it for me apparently. I was thinking they will be apologetic and chit but nope, it was pure corporate tone, business transaction. And they even mentioned state lemon laws during conversations. Oh well…got lucky parts are short else they would’vetried to fix it within 30 days and tried to hand me a chitty ass repaired vehicle I wouldn’t have wanted.
Decided I’m gonna move on. Signing the letter now and sending it in.
