Thoughts on office job?
I currently work in an office full time as an engineer, and tbh I count down the hours till I’m done work so I can go home.
Do you brahs enjoy your work?

"find a job that you love and you'll never have to work another day" just a buncha bs tbh. working for somebody other than yourself sucks no matter what you do.

Depends on the job. There could be 2 jobs in the same industry, same job title, similar description, yet totally different depending on the work environment, coworkers, how busy it is, and how valued you are.

Try to find another job and/or see if theres another line of work similar to what you do but that you enjoy more.

Gotta scout jobs better next time too, sometimes you cant afford to discard offers but if you can try to get in something that you wont hate in such short time, maybe you didnt know you dont like desk jobs before but at least you can look while you're employed.

My first job out of college was a mind-numbing office job that I hated. I did it for about a year before quitting and applying for jobs in an area which interests me more and now my job is probably a 7.5/10 in terms of job satisfaction/low stress. The first job was probably around 2.5/10. It was miserable
I make the same amount of money as I did starting out at my other job and I enjoy the work 3 times as much.

It will prolly look bad if I leave a job after 2 weeks so I’ll do it atleast 6 months tbh.

If you can stick it out 6 months-1 year while job searching, I don't see a downside

My commute is 1 hour each side so 2 hours in total.

This isn’t a perfect job at all, but my job title is “engineer” and I’m working with professionals, so I can bear it for 6-12 months I reckon.

You won't get those months of job searching back regardless and if the engineer experience won't help in your next career, then that's not worth considering for what to do next either

Most days yes, some days not so much. New requests I'm not used to, or military flights mixed with bad weather and chitty pilots asking for things I can't do. Those make it irritating where I can't wait to get home.
But other days where it's chill and not busy at all in the winter time I start to realize how much I can't stand my other coworkers, so it's basically like any other office job of "it's really dope if you like who you work with"

Yeah maybe doing the same type of work in a different environment/company might make him happier. I haven't done that, so I didn't recommend it
I did accept a better paying different job title within the same company that 1 year of work though and I still hated it

Jr. Electrical Engineer here... I loved my work until I felt I wasn't learning anything new.
As an Engineer your mind probably does best solving new problems you haven't experienced, if something is mundane it's probably hell.
