Unrelated:
- Overrated series
- still built on a decade+ old engine (confirmed to still be used for their sci-fi IP and ES6)
- entirely relies on their modding community to fix their broken messes
- responsible for fallout76
ES6 will be massive considering how much time they put in it. Won't be anywhere near as good as ES 3-5.
Related:
Skyrim sales: 59% were for the Xbox 360, 27% for the PS3, and 14% for the PC
Looks like there wasn't a huge playerbase on PS anyways

Skyrim was a great game. Expect the same from ES6.

I love the serie but afraid theyre going to ruin it.
-lack of imagination going on nowadays
-no jeremy soule
-battleroyal fağgotry
-they probably will release 30 DLCs and base game will be banal without these
-Fraodd Howard
-Sjws (I doubt any of them play ES but still gotta submit to their needs) so expect buncha homo characters etc
-multiplayer mode so expect some 10 yo russian kids harrass you while youre trying to read an in game book

Lmao but for real everyone just needs to accept it. Video gaming is mainstream media now. It's going to have alot of that going forward. The days of Duke nukem esque protagonists is gone. You prob just won't see that on the biggest aaa titles anymore.video game is big in the woke crowd unfortunately.

Starfield and ES6 will be released on the Creation Engine 2. It's the official upgraded and new engine from Bethesda.

It should have been obvious like a year ago it would be exclusive. And more so after starfield was said to be exclusive at E3. And I think ps5 will still do very well in terms of 1st party output.
The wonky physics MIGHT remain, but that's to be seen. No where was it said the only difference is lighting, I'm curious where you heard that. They already said it would also use photogrammetry. They also mentioned a new Animation system.
I'm not saying everything is going to be amazing in it (an engine that has so many interactable objects is complex) or even that the game will be good, I'm just saying "it builds on the same engine" is how engine evolution works in GENERAL, not just from Bethesda. And the lighting comment.

It's not entirely too fair to compare it to engines like cryengine or unreal engine, where games made on them aren't really the "bethesda" type of game. I remember hearing Todd's little lies that the reason EOS/Starfield was delayed this long was because of them working on the engine and not wanting to release a game so quickly until they got to a point where console power/engine stuff was on point. So the very least, we can at least hope that visually the game will be upto standard and maybe the games might be a bit more stable too (if they dont dumb it down/streamline stuff like how they've been doing recently) ... I do agree that Creation engine is a wonky piece of software, but lets give them the benefit of the doubt. We havnt seen the gameplay yet.Sure engines build on each other. With all that MS money behind them now, we can only hope that they're being given enough of a budget and long enough deadline to iron out all the kinks.

I definitely know it will not look like TLOU2 or something. That'd be impossible with the amount of interactable objects, npc's, questlines, etc. That stuff takes up processing power.

Gaming companies shooting themselves in the foot lately. Activision currently leading this trend. Not surprised Bethesda is following. They made eso after all.

My only fear is that the game goes woke. Elder Scrolls has always been pretty good about diversity so I hope they don't feel the need to overcompensate and be a TLOU tranny simulator.

Good thing I got both a PC and a PS5. It's the ultimate combo for gaming in this generation, srs. Throw in a Switch and a modern smart phone and you've got access to anything you can possibly want played at the ultimate performance any game can deliver at launch.
I feel like last generation the Xbox One was the worser console compared with the PS4, including for Xbox One X vs Ps4 Pro, despite the XOX having better hardware. Too many great PS4 exclusives, and the Xbox One exclusives weren't all that amazing IMHO, lotta folks agree the Halo sequels went downhill, though the Gears sequels were good. Glad that Micro$oft is throwing in some real tangible competition this generation. Steal games/companies that were previously cross platform, mixed with enriching the current franchises (Halo Infinite notably).

JLMAO @ all the sonycels having a meltdown over this. They're such fanatics about their favorite brand.
Just buy an Xbox if you want the game. You don't see me crying a river over Gran Turismo 7 being PS exclusive, I plan to just buy a PS5 whenever that comes out.

But the fun of the world and modding community more than makes up for it. Look at what how chit Two/Rockstar treat their modding community compared to Bethesda. Bethesda actually embraces it and it benefits both sides
