So when you say dumbass things like people who got the covid shot have a 32% chance of having long term side effects, because data from 10 years ago where only 1.35% of drugs were actually pulled, and the rest just had a warning slapped on them, I will laugh at you.

Don’t get the shot. I don’t care, but at least stop saying things that are totally moronic and have no basis in reality, because you read it on some whack job website.
The covid vaccine falls into the category of a novel biologic drug that had accelerated approval. With the FDA's track record a 1.35% chance of the vaccine being withdrawn, or a 30.65% chance that unexpected side effects appear after ~4.2 years is unfortunate for anyone who took the vaccine in comparison to someone who gets covid19 and is looking at a less than .02% chance of death (or in your case at 41 years old, 0.1% chance of death).

Only now is the study an issue for you because it was done in 2017 "pre-covid" from data 7 years prior to that. If novel drugs approved post 2010 were in the study then the long term side effects wouldn't have been fully realized by 2017, which is why the study was done on a median of 11.7 years after approval.

What's so difficult to understand here? Your risk v reward for taking the vaccine was a stupid decision, accept it bro, move on, and pray to God in 4.2 years they don't withdraw the vaccine from the market or have to update its safety status.

The article doesn't mention vaccines because it's non-specific. There were 222 novel therapeutics from 2001 thorough 2010, and 32% of them had unexpected long term side effects. The covid vaccine is an FDA approved novel therapeutic.

Therapeutics vary greatly in their composition, effects, and mechanisms. Considering the specifics helps inform conclusions in this case. The current covid vaccines in use in North America are non-live vaccines. How many of those 71 with long term side effects were non-live vaccines?

So you're under the impression that the covid vaccines; experimental drugs with accelerated approval from the FDA, are exempt from unexpected long term side effects occurring... why?

This is some unprecedented levels of paranoia. No one gives a flying fk about your "digital footprint" or your posts to reps ratio for that matter.

I get why people are concerned with these vaccines, especially given his political the whole thing has become.

Because they're new, I don't think they're exempt. I asked how many of the problematic ones were similar to the covid vaccines.

My understanding is that there isn't much historical evidence of non-live vaccines causing long term effects years after inoculation. I wondered if this report says otherwise. I didn't see it there.

Seeing as mNRA vaccine technology is new and in experimental stages, no, I wouldn't think that there would be any historical data. This makes long term side effect potential even more concerning.

All 222 drugs from 2001-2010 regardless of class, which were approved by the FDA, 71 of them had unexpected long term side effects. There's nothing "intellectually dishonest" about pointing that out. I understand you're in serious cope mode and grasping at straws here but when weighed up with the .02% chance of dying from covid (assuming you're 20-30 years old), you made a bad decision getting the vaccine. Especially since the vaccine doesn't provide immunity.

The chance of experiencing an adverse reaction from vaccination is even lower than the .02% chance of dying from covid; that played into the decision.

The politicization is ridiculous though. This is the first time in our life times we've seen mandates like this. It's alarming and driving an underrepresented level of division.

I can't be sure. But I can't be sure how covid would go for me either.

Long term effects are unlikely relative to what the 'rona can do. It's the stuff individuals should be able to consider for themselves. It should be a health decision, not a political one, imo.

Why do you keep bringing this up when you have been proven wrong?
15 yrs later & they were still finding server problems with the smallpox vaccines & It took almost a year to analyze the results and determine whether the vaccine provided protection against polio...yet we now have Faucci already saying that the Cocid vaccines are losing effectiveness.

I specifically said non-live virus vaccines.

Smallpox vaccine is live. Definitely didn't protect against polio.

The problematic polio vaccines were also live.

You mean what the vaccines “can’t do”, vaccines have little to no chance of effectiveness for Corona type viruses. History has proven this true over and over. Corna vaccines are notoriously problematic ( mostly due to rapid weakening) and have never been successful.
