Holy chit, villains from Tobey Maguire's spiderman movies and the Amazing spiderman movies. Pretty genius on Marvels part including these old films on a multiverse concept. Only question is, will Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield be in this film?

Only one I liked was the Captain America trilogy cause he's the only hero that promoted bicycling.

I'll call it right now after seeing the trailer that the other two Spideys show up at the end during the big fight a la Endgame and all three fight the villians. Which would be pretty awesome, actually.

I'm sure that shot with Spidey flying towards the three villains will actually end up being three versus three, they just cut them out.

This, if the rumours are true that sounds fukin awesome. Don't really care for marvel movies however the original Spiderman movies have a special place in my heart.

Trailer was absolutely fantastic but I def dont dig cgi on green goblin. How hard is it to use more practical effects? In the first spidey movie willem wore a practical real suit but this looks straight up cgi, not even good cgi. Im glad they use the same 2002 suit but come on either use a practical suit or if you use cgi at least make it good.

You think so? There is 0 confirmation that they're in the movie. It'll be cool though, I assume we'll see them on the future movies too since all the universes are like merging together. Like the way marvel is going with this even though I hate marvel and am a DC guy. I love spiderman though and this also gives them the opportunity to put venom in the MCU. Seems like Sony finally came around and will give fans what they want.

This actually looks good! I think Garfield and Toby will be making an appearance. They set it up for it in the trailer many times.

It will be a massive letdown if they don't.

Looks like crap.

My reason: it all feels and looks like one big cluster fuk. I'm not against having mythical stuff or powers in movies but the world needs to feel consistent and grounded in some way. It's important for me to know the rules and boundaries of the world so they can't just shoehorn in some random chite that solves the conflicts. This show as a bunch of people with unique magical powers, AS WELL AS multiple time lines and dimensions. Da fuk is even happening, lol

Trailer gave the chills. Can’t. Wait. Honestly, the clear hints of the other spidey men being in it, but not showing them out-right, is smart. Theaters are going to absolutely erupt when Tobey and Andrew appear on screen.

I don't have a problem with a super hero movie in a literal sense.

I have an issue with Disney/marvel movies throwing a bunch of chite at the screen that don't logically follow. Trying to draw an example here. An analogy could be the original Jurassic Park compared to the recent Disney Jurassic World 2 or whatever.

to be fair, the spider-man franchise is owned by sony, so we'll see if they can pull it all together. most people who will be watching this movie have watched the previous spider-man movies, so the story line wont need much character development.
